I would just like to say that for just two days I've been using a 1% HC cream mixed with an anti-fungal called Clotrimaderm. My lips have never felt or looked this good in months.
I know that everyone is in different stages of this dreadful condition, but I think the real cure for this, and for any skin condition for that matter, is HC cream or ointment, constant moisturizing, a balanced diet, a stress-free environment and TIME. I'm sure we all have our preferences so I won't recommend one brand over another; every emollient will work for us differently. Obviously this 'treatment' will work best if done without the crusts, but if you still have them on your lips, I would just leave them be and moisturize over top of them until they come off.
I'm pretty sure that it's the HC and not the anti-fungal working here. But if I do have some sort of fungus or infection I guess I'm killing two birds with one stone.
This is almost exactly the same as what MikePylon did to be fully cured and I'm hoping that by doing something similar to what he did, that I too will be cured in about a month.
If you want any chance of successfully treating this condition, I would do what has been proven to work.

This is a reply to # 2,058,937Fortunately, Mike was able complete treatment with HC short term. I think his treatment was 2 months? However, it is not good to use HC (even 1%) long term.
Yeah, my lips looked healed after applying a high does HC cream. But I only tried it one day. I do not need to develop more health problems.

This is a reply to # 2,058,946I know. I was initially reluctant to use HC. It was pretty much my last resort after a number of natural remedies. I still feel like if there are no noticeable results within the first two to four weeks, you should stop treatment. A 1% HC cream should not cause any damage with a couple months of treatment though.
But then again, everyone will react differently to different medicines and products. It should be attempted though - at least for a few days. - Re: The REAL cure death2ec

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,058,946Mike was on a steroid 4 months, 3 months on desonide and a month on the prevex hc. My derm told me I'd likely be on the steroid a "few months".

And MikePylon only had the condition for a very small amount of time before starting. So people shouldn't expect results that fast.

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,058,995Three months on Desonide before he started the Prevex HC? I think that is an important fact left out of the treatment plan. When I used Desonide 0.5% for 1 day, my lips went back to normal. My lips looked normal for a few days afterwards, but it did not last. It seems to remain in system after you stop using it...at least it did for me after using it for 1 day.

This is a reply to # 2,059,044Dude your just constantly trying to disprove this treatment. Everytime it's brought up you try to rationalize your opinion that it doesn't actually work. I don't know if its because something similar didnt work for you, or your just bitter because you have been on here forever running in circle and so many others around you are seeing such good progress now.
It has been months and his lips are still 100% healed. It worked for him. And seems to be working for others. Just accept it dude.
We all know the difference between our lips just looking good, and actually seeing improvement. You can't seem to comprehend that. You just think your so much smarter than everyone and that nobody else could possibly understand the difference.

This is a reply to # 2,059,063...because of the possible side effects using it long term. It really is not supposed to used over 1 week, but not all dermatologists follow the safety guidelines (as discussed in an article).
I do not know if some people only need it short term. I might need it long term because of my inflammatory bowel condition. I do know others have used steroid creams long term, but it did not work long term. That is why others stopped using it.

That's why I believe in this protocol, in my opinion the most important part is the saline solution
I did lots of tests and I'm not celiac and do not have any wheat, gluten allergy, IgE IgA and all these stuff are OK, maybe beeing celiac is just a risk factor to get EC

This is a reply to # 2,058,937There is a new cream in Australia that has both the Clotrimazole and a 1% HC in it. It is not designed for the lips but it's got the same ingredients that you speak of.
I'm pretty sure it's by Caneston. But if you ask the Pharmacy I'm sure they'll know what it is. I think it's designed for athletes foot.
