Hey guys!!! Firstly I'd like to apologize for not frequenting the forum more often, there is so much I need to share in the near future, personal life has just gotten hectic and huge changes are afoot. Secondly, I apologize in advance if this post makes anyone uncomfortable but despite it's graphic sexua| nature, this is a completely legitimate concern for me and I would really benefit from your thoughts.

I suffer from candida and just like many of you it requires daily maintenance to keep it in check. I've made a ginormous amount of progress since the severe overgrowth that erupted in September 2012, but it's tough to eradicate and still around. I'm also in a relatively new and very sexually active romantic relationship, and have noticed since the candida was horrible in Sept up until now that every single time I consume semen (which is frequent, for a variety of reasons that I'm sure you can imagine), my candida flares up in various different ways. Sometimes it manifests as mental changes, other times fatigue, stomach cramps, bloating, body itch, you name it. Whatever the react on a given day (which more/less severe depending on how my candida levels were before consuming), I am CERTAIN that it's candida related. I'm very in tune with my body.
For ages I just thought that perhaps I didn't digest it well and since I wasn't taking enzymes with it like I do with food, that that was the problem. But after a particularly bad day of candida following a fun weekend that involved mulitple incidents of semen consumption, I decided to investigate what's actually in semen other than sperm. I can't possibly be the first to discover that depending on the health of the man and other variables, there is a SIGNIFICANT amount of fructose, which is of course sugar, in semen. It provides engery for the sperm to travel to their destination and what not. It makes complete sense.
So my question to all of you is: how should I go about handling this? Swallowing is a part of our sex lives that we both truly enjoy, and I don't even want to tell him my discovery bc he's seen me go through and kinds of hell over the past 2 yrs and I don't want him to feel guilty. Should I try taking my digestive enzymes once I've consumed it to try to make it digest somewhat and keep the yeasties at bay? Or maybe even candida eating enzymes like Candidase (they tend to help with many symptoms)? Please try to take this seriously because this is a very real obstacle for me. Thank you!!!
