A: How do you determine that you're borderline hypothyroid? The thing that sort of confuses me is that it seems like you can be hypothyroid even if your results dont show it. It seems that if you fit the criteria, there's a pretty good chance that you are hypothyroid. Thats the part im not too sure about. I did check out stopthethyroidmadness and actually ordered the book so maybe that will provide more insight. lol

In regards to the question in my original post, do you think that having a result of a high TSH level for that one blood draw could be random or is it a possible indication of an issue? I have a lot of the symptoms, my mom has a hypothyroid, and im dealing with adrenal issues right now.

A: That sounds very helpful. Does it seem to be helping you? The exercise part is definitely out of the question for me since any exercise wipes me out completely. Have you tried Iodine supplementation? I'm just learning about it and was wondering more about it.

I was actually also wondering about the Triphala that you mentioned. I have actually never heard of it until you mentioned it and was wondering if it's working for you. I'm trying to decide on something to support my liver and was consisering Nature Way's Super Thisylin. Its basically a blend of Simyrin and a few other liver herbs like Dandelion root. Not sure which path to go... I definitely have liver/gallbladder issues. I dont think i produce any bile as i cant seem to digest fats. I also always have this pain in the liver/gallbladder area. Any insight would be great. Thanks!
