Recently, someone told me that 28-days only Water Fasting (drinking only pure water, at least 10 liters per day) would get rid the body of all parasites/pathogens.
Apparently, some russian doctor heals people like this, starting with 28-days, then 7-days at regular intervals and then 1 day a week fasting.
Does anybody have an experience with this?

This is a reply to # 1,760,990has been discussed in the past. my own opinion is that it will dramatically weaken the body and give the parasites the upper hand.

but then, apparently if no food is provided, the body digests whatever it can, meaning it would digest all the parasites
I've never tried fasting so I don't have any experience and quite frankly even though I don't eat that much, complete avoidance of food is not too tempting for me

thanks, wen, so there must be something to it, maybe I'll have to try maybe first 7 days, but apparently first seven days are the worse, so maybe it's better to go for a longer time
sounds easy but I know myself and as I mentioned even though I don't eat some days at all, an idea that I would not be able to eat for the whole month is somehow scary to me - Re: Fasting Newport

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,761,003That is what Gerson Therapy is, this is not a fast because you may actually get more nutrition then by eating food when digestion is off.
But even on Gerson you need to eat and rule #1 on Gerson is eat first!

I agree with rule # 1 = eating, really no food for a long time seems like a punishment rather then a treatment...

This is a reply to # 1,761,015In his great book Matsen gets people to fast til lunch.
This works by taking in a half lemon, hot water and a pinch of cayenne and for some ginger as a morning beverage.
This stimulated digestion and fasting till noon then allows enough clearing for the liver that over a couple of weeks of this you can get great results.
