Yes, we are all 'on the same page' now Jorge. When trying to beat this thing we go down so many dead-ends. I blamed Candida for 20 years, then last year I thought it might be a Streptococcal (or some other bacteria) overgrowth in addition to Candida. I took
Antibiotics plus nystatin, but still got massive yeast explosion. That put me off the bacterial approach. But I have since found out my Candida is immune to nystatin. If I had done it with amphotericin I might have succeeded, because I felt better early on the
Antibiotics . I only got worse when Candida overgrew.
I agree with you regarding the herbals. The ones that don't reach the colon in significant amounts are very useful if they kill Candida and bacteria, or even just bacteria if they can kill the nasty fermenting ones in the small bowel. Even
Iodine is an option if it is largly absorbed before reaching the colon.
