For the"Short and Sweet" skip to the praz part
I have been posting here for years, formerly under wrayc. I decided at some point that I needed a little more privacy. I started this parasite "trek" in my 4th yr of medical school, despite the fact that they were nagging me for over 10 yrs prior starting with inexplicable sky high eosinophilia). My symptoms simply got to be too much to handle, fatigue allergies, constipation, insomnia (3d at a time) while juggling patients of my own, asthma type episodes which came and went even though I had no history of asthma.
I did begin the alternative route first with hulda clark formula, but stopped due to constipation and headaches.... some of us have to work!! Then I graduated to pharms, specifically mebendazole... took that a few times, die off symptoms, headache, diarrhea, constipation, rashes(larva migrans?) but no CURES. Then my MD got in on it (D.O. actually), he addresses my breathing issues with inhalers and steriods ... never felt so bad in my life, exhausted, couldnt get off the couch ... ok, and i'm mr. super insomnia man so something is DIRELY wrong. Ended up having an acute episode in ER (FIRST EVER) wheezing, SOB, hands and feet spasming, HR >150. Thought I was dying....only thing on blood panel was low potassium ,,,, which is indicative of something regarding parasites but dont recall what. Steroids induce/trigger many parasite type into overdrive to reproduce as well as suppress your immune system.
So, I was done playing and took matters into my own hands. I wanted a broadspectrum atom bomb damnit, so I took Zimecterin Gold with mebendazole and a fiber shake and swallowed it. So within couple hours, sure enough, passed nice well formed bowel movement filled with white worms. I FLIPPED, because as most of us know, large kill goes hand and hand with some very bad reaction ... on the way to the hospital I went into Anphylactic shock: fever, sweats, fecal odor, tachycardia (>150), anxiety, numb hand, feet and abdomin with rigid spasms and odd oder
ok this part of the circus ride is over, now to part 2:
after hour or two symtpoms do subside and darn it I'm getting pretty tootin hungry, famished actually, so of course a friend brings me a whopper and I inhale it. Again, in the ER I pass stool with copious worms. Meanwhile my pulse is creaping up and up, back over 150, then I look at my skin, larva migrans yeaa!!, fecal smell, fever, sweats so now I leave to go to another hospital closer to home by the time im there everthing had dropped. My HR low, very weak, cold skin , felt and smelled like a corpse, absolutely fetid but you could still see the tracks under my skin. Flies were buzzing on me in the ER and when I got home I found egg casings. They either thought I was dead or poop. I went home ... and of course, took another dose, and the cold to the bone symptoms subsided.
Ok: so the point about the PRAZIQUANTEL... I have on 3 occasions taken MASSIVE amounts of praziquantel... like 1800mg 3 x day for 3 day.... no reaction to report. recently took another praz/ivermectin formulation and it was like peeling paint off the walls. Very scary. There is another product in the mix to potentiate the meds, dmso/ alcohol or something because its like night and day. Something I have noticed it is to take it once ... repeatedly is a downward spiral. Now, when I have taken in 4 to 6 hr intervals(praz peaks at 1-2h and is rapidly absorbed on empty tummy) with bowel flushes between I noticed much more sustained benefit. For whatever reasons, these parasites sneeze at large quantity big pharm praz; apparently they simply dont absorb it. But again take care with the mixed formulation because even though they use incredibly lower doses they are more powerful and should be repeated within a specific time period... i believe its more than 4 hour but less than 6h with flushes maybe 2-3 hours after each 3 times total.
Most recently, my reaction occurred after one dose over 12h later, or about 4 hours after my first meal (small 1.0z bag of chips the next day. My guess is that its either tape or fluke and you need to either flush or kill the baby cercariae before they have time to migrate out of the GI tract and proliferate to millions. (no joke) Not sure if they actually eat the food or merely follow the chemo reactive signal of the food being absorbed into the GI mucosa i.e; sodium.but from there they essentially CHOMP (yes it hurts) their way randomly thru the body creating inflammatory changes along their quest back to paradise.
these 2 drugs obviously potentiate each other (parasites protect each other) this is why simply attempting to eradicate ONE specific bug in a mixed infection can be a losing proposition. Not to mention the medium they are using, such as dmso may reach all tissues through and through.
Ivermectin penetrates the strongyl barries to increase mucosal absorption of praz which then prevents the tapes and flukes protection of full effects of ivermectin. Simple but genius.
Be careful.
NEVER ever assume.
