The tablets will lance Candida in the gut only (pretty sure action stops in small intestines, could be confusing my info or it could, like much, have been inaccurate - it was long ago). Have you considered the oral suspension? It's prescribed for thrush. You will want to have your MD send the scriipt to a compounding pharmacy which can produce a
Sugar free product. The standard "swish and swallow" Nystatin is loaded with
Sugar and usually offered to babies and children.
Alternately (I've done this) one can chew a tablet. Not sure if it's effective or not, but worth a go. Not so tasty either, but what's worse?
Best anti-fungal scripts are Amphotericin B (compounded, nasal spray) and Sporanox (Itraconazole). Diflucan (Fluconazole) has helped some. But by far the most systemic is the Sporanox.
Recently read that Kolerex has action equal if not superior to Ampho B. Might want to try that. Tea or softgels which you can also chew.
Seagate makes great products for sinus and throat. Check'em out:

My BEST advise is to consider
Iodine supplementation. Lugols. In water (I like mine in coffee) it definitely hits the throat. Also mobilizes heavy metals, balances halogens, helps regulate hormones. ALL necessary to eliminate microbial overgrowth.
