I just had a salesperson come to the house to test my water and try to sell me a RO system. He wants $3200 to put a whole house system in. I am not 100 percent convinced that this is the best water to drink. My tap showed come cholorine (even my filtered fridge water!) and heavy metal contamination. Obviously, I need to do something, but what is the best choice? I am reading that distilled water and RO water is not good for the long haul. I obviously want clean water, with a good ph with minerals. What should I do?
