Sams Club had a sign up today, boasting about their everyday low prices. Second from the top of the list was:

Synthroid, 30 doses @ 100 micrograms each, for the everyday low price of $ 15.25.


Thirty, one hundred milligram doses equals three milligrams. For $ 15. That's five dollars per milligram, retail price.

That equals $ 5000 per gram.

That works out to $ 2.3 million dollars per pound.

Typical pharmacy batches are 100 pounds. One batch is about 1/4 B.

How ignorant does a person have to be, to get themselves in a bind where they're paying $ 5000 per gram for something they don't necessarily need ?

Why do people risk jail by making illicit drugs only worth $ 100 a gram ?

One would think there'd be a hell of a black market for synthroid. But, its a protected market. Big Pharma could never pull this off, without help from FDA.

This industry's greed, is self-destroying. Of their labors come few fruits, including 750,000 iatrogenic deaths annually in the USA alone !!!!
