Well, I am very excited about your reading.
I had an intuition that you were probably about to start a brand new 13-year cycle (according to mayan astrology) and I was right!!!
Presently you are in the very last year of a cycle that started on your birthday 1991. During this 13 year cycle you learned how to...let go of the feeling that you need to be in control, and you learned how to surrender, so that a part of you could die a symbolic death and your limiting beliefs could slough away. "Symbolic death unveils the self by cutting away the outgrown parts of yourself that no longer serve you."

What is happening is that your Ascendant is at 2degrees Pisces. Uranus has been hidden in your 12th house since 1995/1996. Does this accurately describe the time when you felt your health took a fall?
What happened was in April, May and June of 1995 Uranus moved into your 12th house (opposite your Health house) then it went retrograde back into the 11th house for a while - then it moved back into your 12th house in January 1996 and stayed in your 12th house until it peeked it's head out into your 1st house in March/April/May of 2003. Uranus went retrograde again and hid in your 12th house until January 2004. Uranus will be fully into your 1st house on February 23rd. Beautiful! One month before your birthday....totally ready for your new Blue Monkey cycle! Wild! What is utterly fascinating (in comparing the mayan astrology with the western) is that Uranus (Blue Monkey) stays in your 1st house basically until you finish your Blue Monkey 13-year cycle! Wow.
Okay, now what does Uranus mean??
Well...since 1996 transiting Uranus was hidden in your 12 house. Uranus is your unique spark and originality. With him hidden in your 12th house (the 12th house is so dark and deep like a well that it's hard to see any planet that is in that house - he was influencing you from 'beyond' kind of....or through Revelations through your dreams and mystical experiences. You also have your Moon and Saturn in your 6th house of Health. This shows that your emotions (connected to seperation from your mother - a nervyness) create stomach problems. Stomach=emotions=moon. So...the more emotionally stable you are, the better your health will be. Saturn in the 6th house shows that if you don't use your Creativity and Self-Expression (artisticness) then that will affect your health too! (Yay - I'm sooo happy you're moving into a Blue Monkey cycle because that is all about Creativity too! Drawing, Dancing, Singing, Painting....being creative - letting your creativity out!) You're eager to hear which career path I've chosen....ya, me too! That's part of the problem. I have been working endlessly toward my Medical Career, to be an MD, which I planned to use in a creative way to expose the lies of pharmacology and drugs. They have such a strong lobby in this country because they are just so rich. You need to have a good degree to stand up to them. I hoped that I could use ancient therapies, like Andreas Moritz , and bring it main stream. That was my plan. After entering an Ivy League Med School, I was already so ill, and became very sick and took a leave of absense. I questioned if the great stress and rigidity of school was killing me. Yes, I am very serious, critical, hard on myself, etc... Andreas says the things we fear most become true. I was afraid of losing my career I guess. I had to take a medical leave from school.
The thing I love and dream about often times when I am a lone is Singing, which you mentioned in the reading as a career for me. As a child and teenager I was semi-famous in my town because I sang so often, in talent shows, plays, and church on Sundays. All the adults assumed that I would major in music and become professional. I did not though. My family really thought it was a "waste" of my intelligence and too risky. Besides, no one has the same calling, so they could not see it as my calling because its not thier's. I REALIZED just a few weeks ago that I had a problem when I told my Mom I would want my kids (Not that I have any, just hypothetical) to be singers or musicians. I said to myself, Uh Oh, that's my own inner desire talking.
I have not been creative in many years so the urges are strong. Its haunting me. I do not want to give up all that worked for. I do not want to choose either one, I want both. Probably impossible. I am still not well yet either, so that's a limiting factor.
I prayed to God last night for a sign. I am scheduled to go back to school next year and studying for boards now. The only answer I got was I spilled a glass of water in the middle of the night last night. Also I got your post this morning. I am reading Andreas' book freedom from judgement. I am so judgemental. It just seems like such a big risk to change careers and not know anyone at all in the music business or anything. This is frustrating.

One thing that leapt out at me was the "sign" of spilling a glass of water. Water almost always equates to spirituality &/or emotions, and in your case, with the medical career plans and all, could *also* symbolize your health.
Do you feel you are "spilling" your spiritual health or your emotional health? If so, it may be time to sit back and review where you really want to be. Your goal to be a doctor and brign true health to the world is extremely noble and very admirable, however, perhaps it's not *really* what your emotional and spiritual self needs right now? Could you possibly need to "spill" your true gifts out onto others in some fashion other than medicine right now?
Just some thoughts that popped out at me when I read your post.

Yes, it was weird that i spilt that glass of water, because i keep a glass of water in the same spot every night and never knocked it over ever before. While I was cleaning it up in the middle of the night last night I was thinking ,"what are you trying to tell me...?" I didn't know. Just that I was going be thirsty.
I don't know the answers to your questions. Those are very difficult questions for me. Am I being spilled out emotionally, maybe physically and emotionally.... I felt very "drained" and used that word frequently to describe myself while i was in school. It is just a bad system of never sleeping and studying all the time that Med schools consider proper training. Many people divorced, got ill, dropped out, so it just sucks life out of people.
You know, everyone thinks that they are talented and many are not. So, i often ignored this passion for singing and the stage. When I was a kid, all my girlfriends were so jealous of me and said "I can do that too, I can sing too!" So I thought, "Gosh, am I just as delusional as they are?" Hahahaha haha!! Maybe, maybe not right?
Where would I rather be...its too hard...i am too cerebral to answer that, i automatically calclate risks associated with each. And what will my Mom think of me or others... I need to be hypnotized to answer that.
My dreams....all my dreams are about being a kid in grade school (an age when I was singing a lot, but not singing in the dream), about being in love and happy. No specific scenerios that I can recall.

This is soooooo fascinating!
You see..if you look at your chart (extended chart selection, Koch house system: www.astro.com) you'll see Neptune at the very top of your chart. Neptune is the symbol for Music (and spirituality)...I have seen many musicians with Neptune in their 10th house (of Career).
Your Neptune is connected in trine to your Mercury/Venus (beautiful singing voice!....and maybe quite intensely powerful, what with Pluto opposing it)...which comes through your physical vessel/body (2nd house)....the last planet that makes up your Grand Trine (easily flowing harmonious energy) is Saturn in your 6th house in Leo (self-expression and creativity). You DO have the discipline to do whatever you need to do to follow your Calling. There may be some fear around doing something Creative (Saturn in Leo)....but if your singing brings upliftment to others, then you will be greatly fulfilled.
Your story reminds me of my close friends story. She danced when she was young...but by the time she got to be about 21 she thought: I am too old to dance, now...and all these fears whooshed over her. Her boyfriend was the 'writer' and he's the one with the 'passion' so she subverted hers and stopped dancing. Well! One accident later (shocking things happen in order to get you back on your Path - the one that feels great!!)....and about 7 years later....she all of a sudden got all these 'pointers' towards Dancing again! She thought: what? This is crazy...I'm 27 now!~! BUT....she (after her breakup 4 years ago)...thought I've GOT to follow these intuitions, promptings and Signs...if I don't I'll look back on my life and wonder where I would be now if I 'followed my heart'! So...she did...she immediately started dancing with a company out East...and began teaching. She missed home so much that she came back here after 2 years away. She realized she wanted 'movement' in her life but didn't know how that would manifest. She followed her hearts desire (coming back home) and now she is getting more signs and pointers to start teaching dance here. It is what gives her the most JOY! She said she finally feels at peace now....Like forever she was looking for the THING and now, she just KNOWS that Movement is a part of her life and she has grown and she knows where she's supposed to be.
Long-winded story, I know.
It just seems to me that you KNOW what your heart wants to do....yes? That was very telling that you said you wanted your potential children to be singers/musicians! Telling indeed! (funny how....that's how problems start with parents, too! They want something for themselves and place their values onto their children which screws things up for the children!)
Anyway...Follow your heart, Gracey...
Interesting that Pluto is moving through your Career house now and it looks like your idea of your Career IS transforming...
Uranus in the first house will totally support you making a radical change. I can't believe how well Blue Monkey fits in....letting your creativity out...

I just checked up on your mayan astrology signature and I see that you are a Red Magnetic Dragon (Tone 1) verry Pisces/Aries cusp energy. Includes your Pisces/Neptune energies AND your Aries energies. (first and last)
Anyway....I couldn't help but see that you had your 13-Day wavespell back in November, 2003. Click on the link below and read the questions and synthesize it with the daykeepers given. I had already put together this wavespell for someone else so, it's already done. Your next one will be sometime in the summer 2004. But, why not read it and see if it makes any sense to you. You can also look back to the days (if you keep a journal) of your wavespell and see if anything started 'coming up' at that time. See what intention you were setting for the next 9 months.

Gracey....it is very interesting because, in your Galactic Signature (you know when you use the calculator and you get the 5 daykeepers?) your Challenge is Blue Monkey.
I found it very interesting that during your Wavespell your Let Go day is Blue Monkey too!
What it's saying is that you need to let go of the SHADOW side of Blue Monkey. It means that you're standing in the Shadow of Blue Monkey instead of the full Light of Blue Monkey.
When you let go of the seriousness etc and embrace your creativity and joy, your true self will emerge...

I'm going to type out the Shadow of Blue Monkey for you because, since it IS your Challenge you are most likely in the shadow of it. As you grow older (and enter this 13 year cycle that is all about Blue Monkey!) you will turn this Challenge into your Focus...it is like your Life Lesson - what you wanted to learn in this lifetime.

If you are standing in the Shadow of Blue Monkey (if your Challenge is Blue Monkey or if you need to Let Go of the shadow of Blue Monkey, read this):
There are many facets to Blue Monkey's shadow. The most common of these is not seeing the humour in life's experiences. If you take life too seriously, humour may offer the relief of an unexpected point of view. Follow your divine child, and you will be shown how to "play" your way through any apparently difficult situation. Humour is a great healer and teacher, and a wonderful way to lighten up about enlightenment.
Another prominent shadow of Blue Monkey is avoiding speaking your truth. Do you use humour to express things that you are afraid to say to someone honestly and directly? Do you use humour to hide your vulnerability? (*a weakened 'water' in TCM shows the feeling of fears and vulnerability may be present*) Perhaps you use sarcasm because you feel wounded, insecure or unable to express your deep feelings. Such use of humour is a way to bring out hidden anger or aggression. If you find yourself caught in inappropriate play, consciously step out of it and bring in the missing awareness.
Trust your magical child to be vulnerable. Express your feelings - especially your awkwardness - in a direct way. Let go of using pretense or humour as means of masking your true feelings. Like the divine child you are, allow ALL emotions to be OK, and freely express them without judgement.
The issue of sensitivity also lies in the shadows of Blue Monkey. Perhaps your inner child was unthinkingly wounded or suppressed by social expectation. Perhaps your gift of sensitivity was not supported by parental figures or the culture at large. In order to protect yourself from this criticism, you may have withdrawn, supprssed your self-expression and creativity, or become absorbed in fantasy worlds. Honestly examine any dynsfunctional, hidden reactions or set patterns you may have that resulted from such woundings. Transform this shadow by becoming aware of your emotional reactions and perceptions of insensitivity. Then express the feelings around it before you get too deeply enmeshed in the cycle of emotional reaction.
In Western culture, many people have a distorted understanding about what it is to be a human being. We are often taught that successful adults are responsible, serious, rigid, controlled, and goal oriented. In your journey with society, your developmental stages may have been incomplete. The natural sensitivity, fluidity and freedom of the child may have been left behind in partial passage. Perhaps your inner child was wounded or treated insensitively, and you carried this unresolved process into adulthood. Blue Monkey encourages you to bring forth this incomplete or wounded part for integration and healing.
This process implies a bounteous connection between Essence Self and Spirit, freed from judgement, denial and separation. It encourages an unconstrained experience of feelings, living your dreams and visions, where everything is sacred and so, by nature, humourous and joyful. Live your dreams! The moment is NOW. This is a reply to # 138,287Once my parents split, Life got serious fast. I was 17, so I wasn't a little girl, but it made me very fearful and I have been fearful ever since. Being two women a lone (me and my Mom) our lives have been filled with fear. My dad brings more danger to us, talking badly about us to ghetto women he dates that say they are going to get us. He's a "drama queen", he never got attention as a kid. The years up to 14 yrs old, we were really close.
So I still have fear issues and use seriosness to cope. I was very serious during college...people told me to "lighten up" or "take a chill pill" all the time. Hahaha I thougt they wanted me to fail my exams that's how crazy I was. Ha hah ahha.
To be honest, I don't know how to let go of all the fears etc.. but I'll work on it.
Ya, I am very very sensitive...many times I feel people's emotions when I look at them. Its annoying at times because I get sucked into the person and forget what I am doing. Like at the bank or supermarket...anywhere..I have to not look at people so that I don't do that. Sometimes people just come to me, though too. It makes me sick sometimes because I get upset for them. My parents noticed it when i was really young.
With my own emotions I can be quite stoic. Whatever comes, I will deal with it. Only cry at movies. Its bad. I have to try to be more spontaneous and not judge myself. I just hold everything in all the time.
I can see the shadow of the blue monkey is a challenge for me. I need a teacher or something.

Trust your own Inner Teacher! Yes...everything you need is within you.
It may seem confusing right now....but take steps towards your joy and the fear will melt away. Start singing somehow. Just do it. Take time to PLAY. Re-read the Blue Monkey stuff (print it out) and follow some of their suggestions...make time to play and be creative. It's up to you. Listen to that calm spot inside that feels wonderful when you think about singing again...follow your inner teacher...

This is a reply to # 138,290This morning on the Ellen show she said, "Speaking of the Year of the Monkey, did you hear about the monkey "Gracey" who escaped at the zoo. They had to close down the zoo. They say its the 4th time she escaped. Just let her go already!" I was like am I hearing things? But she said the name "gracey" several times.
My dream last night was a grade school reunion (not highschool). I did not want to appear dateless, so I tried to get a shy guy to be my date although I did not like him. Meanwhile the guy that I did like was standing right there watching me waiting for my attention. I just liked him soo much that I could not consider that he would be interested in me. So symbolic.
Tracey, do you know a way to remember past lives? Edgar Cayce has a book called "You can remember". I thought maybe it may help me resolve some fears too.

This is a reply to # 138,291Gracey...that is truly unbelievable!! (I should really know by now that that is BElievable - my friend and I are trying to train ourselves to say That's Believeable!! Because we're always experiencing crazy synchronicities that have us exclaim: Unbelievable!
Anyway, you get the picture!
Wow. Gracey the Monkey....let her escape and run free!! Wooo. That is just about the biggest sign you could get!
Remember that when all the signs are there that you are on your right Path. They are kind of like applause and pointer-markers along your way that say...YAY! Stay on this Path! You're right where you should be.
To me, your chart and your dreams together show that, although of course, you've HAD past lives...they are not hindering you in any terrible way. You have challenges in this life but it's not because of 'unfinished business' in a last life....your main challenge is to let your Self-Expression and creativity free (Saturn in Leo)...you don't need to delve into past lives, really. (it may be of interest and I found out some mighty interesting things about myself by using a past life regression tape! wow!)

And the shy boy that you didn't like that much is an aspect of yourself (the SHY inner male...that isn't in his FULL EXPRESSION!)...just go on and get together with the guy you really like! He likes you too! (integration and health!)

You're an empath!!! Very Cool! So am I, and it *can* be hard not to get "sucked in." If I'm not careful, I can "pick up" on other people's bad moods or emotional problems and carry all that gunk around with me. Ughh!
What helps me is visualization. It helps to learn to meditate first. It can sound silly, but it works!
Basically, before leaving your house, imagine a glowing white light. "See" that light grown bigger, until it's the same size as you, then step into the light and "see" it surround you. While you're visualizing the light, repeat, over and over, something to yourself like "light passes through, dark stays out" or "positive flows, negative goes", just anything along those lines, even "angels watch over me" or "God walks with me" - whatever works for *you*. Once you "see" the light surrounding you in your mind's eye, tell yourself that this light will surround you all day.
At this point, you don't need to actively "see" the light anymore, just know it's there and go about your daily business. If you feel other people's emotions "breaking in", simply take a few mintes and repeat the process.
At first, I'd need to step into a bathroom or someplace to "relight" myself, however, it gets easier the more you do it. I can now "throw up" a light shield standing in line at the grocery or wherever. It really does work! =)

YES, please tell me more about this. I have never heard of an "empath". Can it be used to do something or do we have to walk around with sheilds forever and ever?
When I was little I heard messages along with feelings a lot. Now that I am adult, I can't pick up messages from "God" that easy. That's why i am so confused now. I was raised Christian, so I told my parents when I was 5 that i talked to God and He was a girl! Ha ha ahahaha....I must have been funny. I was so fascinated with Jesus, i think i lived around his life time, maybe a disciple.
What do you do with this gift? Are their books about it? I wish I could work it instead of it working me.

I think it's fantastic that you used to pick up messages! That means you still have that ability, you just need to re-find it and polish it off. I'm even more sure now that you're an empath - at the least!
Actually, almost everyone has *some* empathic abilities. It's what helps us to comfort people during bad times and what makes us all feel up and excited over sharing good times. However, an "empath" is someone with that ability on a much higher or deeper scale. Like telepath means someone who can pick up on thoughts, empath means someone who can pick up on emotions. Empaths "feel" what people around us feel, usually face to face, but sometimes just being in the same room or even just reading what they write!
A lot of people are more comfortable using the word "sensitive" instead of empath, so you often don't hear about it. Although empaths (or sensitives) aren't all that common, they are *much* more common than telepaths. I believe it's because our emotions come from a more basic level and that we are all tied together somewhat on that level. It's a lot easier for us to share emotions than the thoughts of the more conscious mind and some people (empaths) just find it even easier than others. Many empaths don't even know they *are* empaths!
Oh, yes! I use it in real life! So can you! The main "trick" to it is recognizing you have it! For instance, between being an empath and using my intuition, it is almost impossible for anyone to lie to me face to face. (My mom calls it "smelling a lie." Drives my youngest son nuts! lol)
Also, I often use it to "scan" an area before walking in or as soon as I enter.
"Scanning" is just pausing your thoughts for a second to see how you feel and to see how things around you feel. If it doesn't "feel" right, I leave. It helps me to avoid things like huge emotional outbursts and also things like "bad" areas that look perfectly ok. Many, many times I've later found out that a huge argument or fight broke out, or something similarly "bad" happened very shortly afterwards that I would have been caught in had I stayed.
I also find I can "scan" and pick up really good "vibes" from a place before ever walking in the door and have often stepped into minor celebrations of total strangers, like a winning team celebrating or a happy birthday dinner at a restuarant. Just be-bopping along the sidewalk and feeling like "hey, I think I'll drop in here" with no apparent reason. Not like I could hear or see a party from outside, it just "felt" good.
My friends and husband have learned to listen to me when I say it's good to stay or time to leave. Some friends know I'm an empath, others just think I have a good intuition. (Some just think it's "my way" and joke about it, but they tend to listen to my "feelings" about things just the same! lol)
Have you ever had people just start telling you their secrets or problems with little or no encouragement from you? Many times people just feel more comfortable telling that stuff to empaths and often neither side knows why! I've had people tell me I'm a good listener when they haven't actually *said* much of anything, I just responded to the emotions behind what words they used.
Interestingly enough, the more empathic someone is, sometimes the harder it is to actually find "words" to speak, so we feel awkward or unqualified to handle it. We get stuck feeling like we don't know what to say. It's actually ok, though, as most empaths help more by simply being there, absorbing some of the emotional overflow and taking some of the burden off the sufferer without ever even saying a word. So there's another way you can use your gift!
Have you ever walked in a room and immediately felt that something big was happening, good or bad, without any visual cues? Like someone has their back to you or is around the corner on the phone getting great news and hasn't even announced it yet, but you *knew* beforehand that something just felt really good? Or all of a sudden, you start feeling sad or down or angry for no reason then have someone come in the room and you find out later that they just got some bad news? If so, you're likely a good empathic "receiver."
As far as always needing to be wrapped in a shield - oh, No! Not at all! I actually rarely "shield" myself. Instead, I use it like any other inter-personal tool and only throw up a "shield" when necessary. I find myself shielding others from my emotions more often than me shielding from theirs.
You can also learn to "send" emotions. I'm also a natural sender, meaning, if I'm not careful or I'm overly emotional about something, I can "send" those emotions out very strongly to be picked up by people who aren't empaths. I've had cubemates who couldn't see me, couldn't hear me, suddenly pop up with funny looks and ask what's wrong. I've even made total strangers very uncomfortable and even leave my area when I was angry. They would keep looking over in my area, sometimes almost obsessively, then get fidgety and finally just get up and leave very quickly with very odd looks on their faces. (I have an excellent poker face and can keep my emotions from "showing" extremely well, so it wasn't my look they responded to.)
An example of sending on purpose: If I can *feel* the checkout person is having a rotten day, I'll purposely dig down and think really happy thoughts while I stand in line and "project" or radiate my good mood out around me. Sort of like thinking "I'm in *such* a good mood and I want the world to share it!" but with the emotions tied in with it. Whereas a smile can help, if you add that feeling behind it, it almost *always* works! By the time I get to the checker, they're smiling and seem really happy to see me. I've even had a few mention it was funny, they were just in the worst mood but all of a sudden they feel so much better! One guy even said that the sun must have come out or something because everything just changed. ;)
One caution, however, "projecting" feelings like that can be very, very tiring. It seems to take a lot out of you. Although it may sound selfish, if I'm tired or hungry, it's much easier to just throw up a shield. Mainly because if I'm really tired, I can't project as well and I end up absorbing their mood instead and end up tired and cranky too boot! Ughh! lol
I mentioned in my earlier post that meditation helps in handling it and in learning to shield. My best information on that is gathered up in text on my computer and not online anymore, so I don't have any links. If you'd like more information on that, ask over on the Consciousness and Awareness forum and I'll see what I can dig up. May take me a little time, but I'll answer, and I'm sure others may step up with suggestions to boot!

Once you acknowledge you pick up on other peoples emotions so easily and that it's a gift, not a curse, it's easier to detach *your* feelings from *their* feelings. You don't need to "shield", you can just realize that those are *their* feelings and kind of "push" them away from you.
The hardest part is learning how to separate the feelings, but if you get in a habit of checking your own feelings thoughout the day, it becomes obvious when someone else's emotions are "bleeding through."
