Its ok, be nosey all you want. We only tell what we want to be known :)
Yes, many days I still feel like the old me. It has only been recently that I stopped heading for the plus size racks at the clothing store! I still drive by McDonalds and cringe at the thought of what I used to eat there!
But on the other hand, every day is a new day and I look forward to all of the opportunities that it holds. I love to learn and grow mentally, and I never stop reading, researching, and enjoying every day of my new life. Sounds cheesy, but its true. I still have a lot more changes I need to make, and I have to perfect the ones I have started to make. Its a never ending journey.
My diet has changed dramatically from a year ago. No sodas, diet or otherwise. Slowly giving up dairy, but I have a hard time with cheeses! Milk, I never drank it.
I gave up butter, and now use Smart Balance, excellent stuff!
No red meats, cutting out chicken and eggs. LOTS of veggies and fruits. Nothing fried, baked or grilled only. I do still eat seafood's, like whitefish or shrimp. I am trying to change to a semi raw diet, but I do not care to be 100%. As I will probably never give up all meats either. I just adore seafood's. My fav snack is air popped popcorn with a touch of
Sea Salt , and garlic powder, and pepper :)
This is compared to my fast food diet 3 x a day, guzzled down by a 44 ounce coke, followed by bags of Doritos, and candy bars galore. I was and still am a compulsive over eater, and every single day I have to deal with that. Fasting has helped me to get it under control, and start to learn why it ever started to begin with. Its been a rough road, but it has been well worth the bumps!
