Sinus Infection - Fungal? Questions....

I started researching why I have so many sinus congestion problems.....and came across the possibility that it could be fungal. I have been on a Decongestion (everyday) for 2 years. It seem to help stop having so many Sinus Infections. From 4-6 a year to 2 a year. But now I have second thoughts on taking these sinus meds everyday.
I usually have congestion / hardly any mucus / sinus type headache / sometimes fatigue.
This past weekend I started to feel bad, achy neck and had swollen glands. Usually I would run to the Dr & get on Antibotics but this time I didn't. I took my regular sinus meds but it didn't get any worst.....& started to take Apple Cider Vinegar. I started to use a neti pot everyday.
Is constant congestion a sign of a Fungal infection?
If I decide to start taking something like ThreeLac - Do I stop taking my Sinus medication?
Is ThreeLac & acidophilus pills work the same or is one better then the other?
What about taking ThreeLac and Apple Cider Vinegar together? I read the ACV is great for thinning of mucus....& good for sinus' in general....
Looking for help or suggestions....

This is a reply to # 1,166,756Do you have an actual fungal infection of the sinuses? Or, are the mast cells in your sinuses being irritated by chemicals being dumped into your blood stream by a candida overgrowth in your intestines? It is fairly routine for ENTs to pull actual fungus balls out of a patient's sinuses. I believe the Mayo Clinic released a study a number of years ago suggesting that fungus physically present in the sinuses was the root cause for many cases of chronic sinusitis. If your case is one where there is fungus physically present in sinuses, I tend to doubt that products taken to control candida in the intestines will give you much, if any, relief.
So, instead of merely dosing you with anti-botics, perhaps a culture could be taken from your sinuses. Wouldn't it be refreshing, even enlightening, to actually know whether a fungus or a bacteria is causing your long term misery? Because if a fungus is the cause of your sinusitis, not only are you wasting your precious dollars on anti-biotics, you may be seriously undermining your health.

This is a reply to # 1,166,756I had (fungal) sinus infections for years and was treated many times with Antibiotics which, along with sugar, caused candida.
It was so bad no natural antifungal worked. I tried everything. Finally, I got the NP to order an antifungal for 10 days at a time and it would be gone for a month or two then come back. I had to order diflucan online to finally get rid of it.
And, because my immune system was so whipped I was allergic to everything. The only thing that stopped the running nose was allergy shots. They really work.
I can finally breathe all day and night (sleep) and I don't look and act like I have a cold all year.

This is a reply to # 1,166,756Try Xclear to keep from getting sinus infections, it was recommended by my allergy doctor and has made a big difference - I have not gotten a sinus infection since I started using it a couple of years ago. also I recently started to us a nose spray with amphotericin-b and it has reduced my stuffy nose significantly.
