Each person does what they feel is best for themselves and what they think that their body can handle at that point in time.
I did several weeks of this flush/cleanse this past summer. I was hospitalized with pancreatitis in October of 2006.
I was really nervous about doing a full flush with the 1/2 cup of olive oil. I didn't know how my body would react to that much oil (olive or any oil) at one sitting. So, I did the egg/lime/olive oil. I started with a tablespoon (as the recipe calls for) of olive oil as that is what I had. I did this for a week, then waited a week. On the second week of doing the cleanse I upped my oil to 2 tablespoons of olive oil, at this time I had some sunflower, sesame and walnut which I would switch out. I did this for a week, then a week off. The third week of doing the cleanse I upped my oil to 3 tablespoons of oil. Three tablespoons is nearly two
ounces or 1/4 cup. Took another week off and then did a final week with 4 tablespoons of oil, which is a little over 1/4 cup.
After being able to tolerate this amount of oil with no problems I felt that I was ready to do a 'full' liver flush. I did my first Clark flush starting on October 6th (I had done a fasting/cleanse in September). I had no problems with the 'full' flush. I may have been able to do one during the summer and not gone through the several weeks of 'mini' flushes but I did not want to take a chance of triggering pancreatitis once again. I had bilary pancreatitis.
I did not pass any stones during the weeks that I did the egg/lime/oil flush/cleanse. I started a
parasite cleanse during the third week into the liver cleansing. During the time while I was
parasite cleansing I did pass many liver flukes. The weeks that I was not on the
parasite cleanse I did pass a lot of chaff.
Just because I did not pass any stones doesn't mean that someone has not or will not. Each of us is different.
This flush I consider more of a cleanse, in that it is helping the liver get rid of some trash. My skin cleared up, it wasn't as dry, my eyes lost all the redness that they had, the dry cracked skin that was on my heels starting going away. I noticed new healthy skin on my heels. It was during the summer when I did this and I never once got red from being out in the sun (I didn't wear sunscreen on my body, just my face), I actually turned brown very easily like I did when I was younger. This flush may or may not help expel stones but it does have a lot of advantages.
It may just be adding essential oils daily, it may be getting all the lecithin from the egg yolks, I don't know. What I do know was that doing this flush did help me...
