Thinking about what you said I've got a feeling the die off with me is a very heavy tiredness and reactions are when I get anxious and my heart speeds up. I get palpitations.
I think you're very wise about looking at this diet etc long term. I've been fighting this for over a year and am only just now beginning to get a little improvement such as coping better. I've put a lot of effort in and done a lot of things. I'm in debt because of it! I wish I'd started off by searching out foods that would do the job of all the suppliments. I'm learning to do that now.
My naturopath told me I'm looking at about another year to be better and that my illness is bordering on the clinical and I'll always have to take very good care of my health for the rest of my life.
This diet for me is for the rest of my life. I may make a few addictions when I can handle it, like more fruit and diabetic jam which I really miss but I see this is a whole life change.
I read somewhere that we shouldn't be on a diet now that we can't stay on for the rest of our lives because apparently we'll reintroduce things and take a stop backwards and more importantly we shouldn't be on a diet that harms us long term in depriving ourselves of necessary things. I'm eating grapefruit and kiwi fruit now because I hadn't had any fruit for over a year and think long term that can't be good for me. I have pressed apple juice in my nightly
Liver Flush too. If I wait until I'm well to eat fruit I'll be waiting a long time and it's so necessary I think.
