That's a tough one. Well, imo I would avoid juice altogether. Fruit juice or carrot that is. It is high in sugars that will feed candida. Juice also is a bad idea in my opinion because it strips away the fiber that meant to go with the juice. The fiber and juice together make up something more complex to break down. The juice is basically a shot of easy to break down sugar. So you could be really barking up the wrong tree. And here is a the scary part. Way back when my candida started up I did not recognize is as the symptoms were alot different. I thought I had low blood
Sugar and I found that snacking on carrots was a good idea. Seemed to me they are a vegetable with fiber and only a tiny bit of
Sugar so it shouldn't hurt. Well it did hurt. I did not recognize it right away because when I ate carrots I felt very good. Turns out that was because I was feeding candida. Whenever you feed candida you will feel great. My problem was that after a while , or so it seemed, candida demanded more and more. I began to feel even more blood sugary, so I started drinking a little milk here and there. Well, all this lead to a terrible attack that lasted for many many hours and would not let up til I gave in and ate more of something sugary. By now I knew what I had done. I had unintentionally increased the population to such a huge amount that the symptoms were horrible and getting away from it was even worse. Once I underwent a strict candida diet, I thought it would kill me. I felt like i drank 20 cups of coffee. I was anxious, shaky, blood sugary and thought I was losing my mind. But as I stayed on my strict diet I got that part of it under control thank god.
Green juices are the best as they are low in sugar, and wheatgrass is packed full of nutrition.
If I were to fast or limit myself to anything I would probably limit myself to only raw salads and green juices. This would be perfect. Packed with minerals and vitamins, plenty of fiber to clean out the intestines and nothing to feed candida.
In researching yeasts on the internet I found that all yeast in general, or the type that inhabit bodies, their job is to break down
Sugar and carbohydrates. So that pretty much says it all. I was just contemplating what changes I will make. But it makes sense. Do away with the sugar and the carbs and candida will have no job left to perform. The only other thing it could live on then would be whatever is left fermenting in the intestine. And that is where enemas come into play.
