Anal Fissures   by #150523   13 year 1 of 1 (100%)

Enemas do wonders in the healing of Anal Fissures. Takes the pressure off and allows the feces to flow out relatively pain free, so that it doesn't re-tear. A cut in that area heals relatively fast actually, the trick is to not re-injure it. I think most people with AF have chronic constipation so keeps re-opening and can never quite heal and builds up more scar tissue. Using enemas, you will either heal it for good or the episodes will be few and far between.

maybe this would help   by #50824   19 year 1 of 1 (100%)

I've never had one but from what I read it seems to be an abcess. My cat gets abcesses from other cat bites and instead of spending $200.00 for the vet to drain it and sew it up and give him Antibiotics , I now treat it with Epsom Salts and water. It works great, draws all the pus out. Also, my boyfriend had an absess on his back and I did the same treatment.

I would also use Colloidal Silver on the wound and internally. For roids, steep camomile tea for 15 min and apply the warm or cool tea to the area. It works well in reducing swelling, better than anything else I ever tried.

no on the master cleanse and the fistula.   by #66379   19 year 1 of 1 (100%)

I think cleansing is not a good idea for a fistula..Or a high fiber diet. I've had one for 20 years now and nothing short of surgery will help it. I guess they also use a crazy glue like substance as well

But I've done some compouding pharmacy suppositories, and nitroglycerin cremes..

Keep with a higher fat/efa diet and try some St Johns wort/shea butter creme it helps alot..
