I too have optic nerve damage and glaucoma. Opthomoligist says only option is surgery. Do not wish to go that way. Hi Kir, It’s the combination of the 4 parts of the recipe that works, not the individual items. The reason I’d start slowly is merely to lessen the temporary bad feelings one can get from a yeast die off. It’s like what I was taught in the boy scouts about making a fire. Another aspect is using only freshly grated herbs, or super strong tinctures of the same. Hi Rena, Actually the catabolic phase is from 4 am to 4 pm, peaking at 10 am. Catabolic is the wide awake stage. Anabolic starts at 4 pm and goes to 4 am. The morning urine and early afternoon urine is usually acidic because, it’s the waste product. The late afternoon and nightime urine is closer to being alkaline.* It can be a little confusing. well, it seems maybe that that is just letting you know it does not require refrigeration and it will keep indefinitely rather than mandatory. We have a challenge, DQ. Due to a quirk in the Amazon system, the price displayed on your site is $236.90! That’s a rare hardcover copy someone is selling. I’ve found that if I search Amazon using my title in quotes, the paperback gets listed ($34.95.) If the title is not in quotes, then the expensive used copy gets listed ($236.90.) I don’t know how these things work as far as listing a book goes. Maybe you could go to the actual page for the paperback on Amazon and list it from there? Thank you Kelley and Knowledge Seeker, Your exactly correct, it is the plague tonic, and I love it. Anytime I start feeling like I am coming down with something, I start taking it by the spoonfuls and it knocks it out, and I do not strain it, I use the applesauce method. Sounds like I will stick with the Braggs then, besides, mine never last more than a year anyway, because my daughter and I start giving it out to friends and family. this sounds like Dr Richard schulze’s supertonic (originally Dr Christopher’s plague tonic). It has been called the cure for the common cold and can be made up in your blender (after grating the hard horseradish root) or better yet in a vitamix. you can either strain it and use as a tincture or eat the stuff in an applesauce like consistency..some people even wrote him saying they used it as a salad dressing. Hi Rena, Apple Cider Vinegar would be a good substitute for the vodka or brandy. I couldn’t say if one is stronger than the other. Hi Kelley, I have a question I think you might be able to help with. I know you are good at making your own tincture, and I have one I really like. The base is made with Bragg’s apple cider vinegar. Would it do well if I substituted with either vodka or gen instead of the apple cider vinegar? The recipe consist of Habaneros, white onion, horseradish root, ginger root, and garlic. Kelley, I would like to thank you for your advice~~I have been taking Evening Primrose oil instead of Cod Liver oil because I am stuck in a catabolic state of imbalance and I feel so much better, it is incredible! no more hot flashes or night sweats, hardly any numbness in my feet and even breathing better (I have asthma and still have to take the usual medicine) I had lost a lot of weight but I am starting to gain some back.
