If her gallbladder is compacted with stones or if it is otherwise not functioning well, the coffee enema may actually increase her pain and discomfort. Before I started doing flushes I discovered that things which promoted bile flow, things like dandelion tea and coffee enemas, gave me some gall bladder pain. She might want to do a full Liver Flush using the basic Epsom salt, olive oil and grapefruit recipe either before or in conjunction with the coffee enema (I do the coffee enema the day after the flush, myself, and consider it sort of booster or mini flush).
