There is a small lump on the left side of my neck directly above the collar bone, could it be cancer?
I noticed this lump about two years ago, and I brushed it off. Each day I get more and more concerned, but of course the Internet makes everyone paranoid when it comes to being diseased. Every thing I search always leads to some form of cancer. So anyways this lump is small and round and whenever I touch it, it feels sore. The left side of my neck is always really tight which is how I found the lump while rubbing my neck to relax the muscle. I am only eighteen and I feel extremely fatigued all the time. I just feel as though I am dragging myself around. Someone please give me some sort of answer, being clueless makes me livid....seriously.

I have Scoliosis, and I had it surgically corrected when I was Eleven years old. My upper spine is fused so that is immobile. My back is constantly popping and crackling. I mention this because my Gram says that maybe I have a pinched nerve it my neck.
Just trying to provide as much information as possible because Cancer is not something I would love to have....)^;-

I know an older guy with a lump on his side of the neck that's been there for many years, but it does not appear to bother him.
You're right about the worst-case scenario, most tend to self-diagnose without proper testing to accurately guess the proper diagnosis.
If you had scoliosis without alternative treatments when you were younger - I wish your guardians/parents found an alternative to surgery. Diet can heal scoliosis, genetics can be detrimental to it, and chiropractors can help realign the spine.

I had a severe case of Scoliosis, and the doctors said that if we didn't do something about it that eventually certain organs would be crushed. They still couldn't fully straighten my spine or else it would have caused paralysis. You can't tell that I had Scoliosis unless my shirt is off and you see the scars and my deformed ribcage. Currently I have an awful diet and my eating habits are inconsisent as in Some days i don't eat at all then other days i just eat junk and then I eat healthy every now and then. So overall I would say my diet sucks, but as of tomorrow morning I am starting a Water Fast. I've have researched this for quite a while and I have decided that it is the best thing for me to do. I am hoping that it works the miracles that people claim. I don't have any medical history because I barely go to the doctor if ever. The last time I went I gave him a long list of unplesant Symptoms that i was experiencing and he completely wrote them off as if I had never told him they existed including this lump on my neck, and all he said was let me know if it gets bigger. I was livid and fustrated because he did nothing at all.-

Just trying to provide as much information as possible because Cancer is not something I would love to have....)^;A lump can be a number of things. Cancer is unlikely though being that it has not grown significantly in two years and if it were a lymphoma you would have multiple swollen nodes throughout the body.
Some possibilities could be a blocked lymph node, a cyst, an underlying bone spur, muscle pushing through a tear, etc.
Scoliosis is actually very easy to fix if they had not already done the spinal fusion. All you can do now is support the bones, cartilage tendons and ligaments. The primary nutrient for this is silica, followed by vitamin C.

This book has helped me a lot. The good news is that you don't necessarily have cancer, and there is a cure for fibromyalgia. My muscles are relaxing and lumps are disappearing.

Vanishing Bile Duct Syndrom, Ductopenia, Cholestasis
Please let me know if there is a better forum to post this to us pressing question. None of the liver forums seem to be the "right" one.
After experiencing extreme itchiness, rash all over his skin, and jaundice and anxieties, a liver biopsy was done on my husband. The results indicated severe cholestasis, moderate ductopenia, and loss of small bile ducts in up to 50 % of sampled portal tracts with active injury in the remaining ones. He won't be seeing the liver specialist till early January.
After the biopsy the hospital discharged him with drugs before they even knew the results of the biopsy. After 4 days he quit them all except one, because he was worried about the side effect. One of them, Ursodiol, seems to be the medication of choice for his issues, however it caused swelling of his feet and ankles, and supposedly toxic to the liver. The other two, Rofact / Refampin and Apo- Hydroxine are also bad for the liver. We were absolutely shocked when we read up on these meds! The only prescription med. he still keeps taking is Olestyr / cholestyramine as it is supposedly binding the excess bilirubin ( his levels were extremely high).
Since he stopped these prescription drugs about a week ago, he started taking Milk Thistle, Black Radish Juice, Dandelion Juice, carrot juice, beet juice, and drinks lemon water throughout the day. He also started taking phospatydilcholine.
His itchiness is now somewhat improved, the rash has almost disappeared, and he sleeps better, but is still jaundiced. We don't know if the improvements are because of the Olestyr he is taking, or because the other natural products are helping his liver heal. Is any one here familiar with these particular problems ? We would greatly appreciate some input / suggestions.
Once these bile ducts have vanished, can the liver re-grow other bile ducts? Or will others vanish as well leading to a liver transplant or death?
Any dietary suggestions? What else can he do? We are very worried. The DR. will not approve of him quitting the meds, but ultimately he may need the Dr.

I would recommend adding Apple Cider Vinegar to his lemon drinks. ACV provides a different acid (acetic) in addition to the lemon acid (citric). This will be a more potent concoction to cleanse ....
