I am very interested in make Organic SOY MILK. I read a lot of anti-soy stories. But all those are because the SOY is a GMO.
If I used NON GMO Organic SOY, soy would be healthy.
I am also starting to beleive is that all this anti-soy propaganda is by dairy industry who want to destroy the soy market. they just play with gullble minds of ppl by writing anything on internet.
I have read very good reviews abt lecithin. I take non GMO lecithin and I like it a lot. I am planning to start milking some SOY MILK from organic soy beans.

Just because soy is sold in the health food stores doesn’t mean it is good for you. Soy is highly thyrotoxic. If you are already struggling with estrogen dominence the addition of soy could send you into hypothyroidism pretty quickly. More than 2 oz/ per day of soy for more than a week can do it.
Read more about soy at Weston A Price Org. They are implementing a soy lawsuit against big agriculture. Google this and I am sure you will be shocked at how we have been hoodwinked by big ag.

Brian,
Over the years I have read tons of research, testimonies, and articles about soy and soy products. It is confusing because soy products are not equal to the raw soy extract. My final decision has been to stay away from soy. It affects hormones, especially not good for men. It is not easily digestible, causing bowel problems. It also can contribute to weight gain as it does with farm animals. Green tea, which I think is derived from some soy plant, might be the only form I would accept. Soy is in almost everything in the form of lecithin, a fat emulsifier. Its hard to es ...

I can’t remember if soy is naturally occurring or not, but assuming it is, remember that nobody ATE soy until they figured out how to ferment it, and that would have been in asia so I guess the Bible people didn’t know about soy. Soy was used to replentish soil in crop rotation, and we do know that soy is toxic for the body. I believe the weston price organization has some interesting information about soy. So perhaps this Jordan guy is basing his position on soy on the fact that most people over the centuries only ate small amounts of fermented soy. Anyway, if you wanted to eat it natural ...

There’s plenty yet that you didn’t know about soy!
Soy contains several naturally occurring compounds that are toxic to humans and animals. Well, actually there is significant research to indicate that any non-lacto-fermented soy products are harmful for our health. Some fermented soy (like miso, tempeh, etc.) can be a source of probiotics, but only in moderation. The Japanese have been consuming fermented soy products for centuries, really. Non-fermented soy is a relatively new product and there is much to support the dangers of consumption. The following is a link to the Weston A Price foundation website which has gathered information on studies that have been done on soy. Its worth looking at, especially for men because so ...

You are a wise one to check out soy before you start guzzling it down. Most of the ’positive’ sites on soy are put forth and paid for by the manufacturers of soy products. When reading about soy, look to the sponsor of the site and determine their monetary gain from what they are saying.
Soy contains phytoestrogens and will cause a hormonal imbalance. Soy is anti-thyroid in that it inhibits the uptake of iodine and can cause serious thyroid problems.

SOY ALLERGENS: SHOCK OF THE NEW
Soy is one of the top allergens.
In the 1980s, Stuart Berger, MD, labeled soy one of the seven top allergens -- one of the “sinister seven.” At the time, most experts listed soy around tenth or eleventh. Bad enough, but way behind peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, shellfish, fin fish and wheat. Today soy is widely accepted as one of “the big eight” that cause immediate hypersensitivity reactions.1-4

I think the main reason MH recommends it is because it has a track record of working. The germans used it instead of gallbladder surgeries. I think taking some soy lecithin daily is safer than having surgery to have an important organ removed - so this is certainly something for people in that dilemma to consider!
Soy lecithin is an extract from the whole, so it won’t have some of the things that make soy bad for you, like phytates. And organic should be even safer.
Is it 100% safe and harmless? I don’t know. But it’s something to consider if you have liver and gallbladder problems.

Eh.. no soy does not actually have copper in it (as far as I can tell). Soy is an estrogen enhancer, and high levels of estrogen is associated with high copper levels, it is not clear what the relationship is but it seems to feed each other. IMHO I would say to limit soy, since it definitely won’t help, but if it is in supplements that are otherwise helping you it is probably a worthwhile trade-off to keep taking them. Especially since you are talking about a tinyyy amount of soy, not a quart of soymilk a day or something.
