Re: Panchakarma Treatment

I have a book that details panchakarma treatment that we can do at home, much milder than the treatment detailed here:
http://www.ayurveda.com/panchakarma/pk_intro.pdf
more info:

and a video:

I’ll post from the book later, right now I must be off! :)

Dioxin stores in fat.
There are posts in this forum on how to do a home version although depending on the severity of the problem I might look into a supervised panchakarma.

Re: An Overview of Panchakarma
by ayurvedaacademy 11 y
Ayurveda, the ancient ”Science of Life,” is one of the oldest forms of health care in the world. It is a holistic science that places great emphasis on prevention and aims at bringing about and maintaining harmony of body, mind and consciousness. It encompasses diet and lifestyle guidelines, herbal formulas and preparations, yoga and meditation practices, as well as various therapies that support and enhance individual Ayurvedic programs.
Ayurveda defines health as the state where every aspect of our being is working properly and in harmony with all its other aspects. That is, the ...

Parts of that are Medico Mafia BS.
Comparing perchlorates to bound cyanide in food is nuts.
Source like Sloan-Kettering..see what happened to the additive TEL due to our Medico Mafia at Sloan-Kettering:

Anyhow, the break down of Amygdalin aka Laetrile or B17 to cyanide inside the body is pure bogus BS.
In short, don’t blame the Apricot seed for the deliberate perchlorates in your water.

yeah, the deal is though that those that get tested for bromide levels still show very high amounts a few YEARS into supplementation. Breast cancer patients, esp. Bromide stores in fat. Breasts are...fat!
Shows you how much we’re exposed to on a daily basis.

Well, I’m going to do this folks,I’m starting tomorrow AM, got everything I need in about three hours of shopping today, made ghee...This is really cool, I bought this book, ”The Complete Book of Ayurvedic Home Remedies” by Vasant Lad, quite some time ago on Molly Bloom’s(QUEEN of all things oily) recommendation. I’m an information junkie and quite often I find that info that I don’t need at the present moment, I WILL need in the future. So it’s cool that I have this book, that details a Home Panchakarma...:) And who k ...

Hey you:) Would you give us a name to go with the #? Linda, Sally Sue, Maybelline? You could be 88964 aka ”_____”:)
Here’s everything I’ve got on panchakarma. BTW, I am the only one I know that has tried this and I had to suspend the experiment as I found that eating nothing but kitcharee constipated me, just the opposite of a cleanse, IMO. I would like to try panchakarma again...we’ll see. BTW, I found the kitcharee to be a very satisfying food, I was not hungry and I had no cravings. Here’s an article on using kitcharee as a simple cleanse:

Re: Catching up with Wommie
by wombat 16 y
I do pause on a regular basis, a few days here, a few days there, no rhyme or reason to it:)
And the panchakarma was easy as I only lasted 3 days on it. It calls for eating kitcharee ONLY(mung beans, rice, ghee, spices)). THAT constipated me. I suppose that that sort of diet might cleanse some, but I normally eat quite a bit of raw food so my diet’s pretty clean. I would like to revise it to my liking and try again.
Did you follow the links? Solid medical back-up:)

Wombat,
I read and re-read everything that is posted here. I am the student....you and Trapper and everyone else are my teachers. I am not in this for the short haul...I am the guinea pig and my children are going to benefit. I have a 16 year old daughter and I am going to do everything to prevent her from getting breast cancer (my mom and her sister both had it very young as well as me)
The hardest part of the detox is that your mind is ”off” and so it is so hard to push on so that is why I print all these great posts to remember that ”this to will pass”.

The stink is bromide, as are the pimples. Yes, it’s a good thing, m’dear. Unpleasant at times, especially for the vain(I’m vain:)
PLEASE do not use any sort of commercial deodorant or antiperspirant. You can do a search, or post a new thread on natural deodorants. Or deal with it:) Lucky it’s winter, eh?
And yes, detox comes in waves. pulse your dose. Acquaint yourself with the coffee enema.

Hi
Respiratory diseases can be very painful specially if its chronic.I would suggest you should opt for ayurvedic treatment. Ayurveda treatment sare long term but guarantee cure by identifying the root cause. Ayurveda is the new age solution for health problems. The best part is being built on natural medicines ayurveda guarantees zero side effects. if you are on the look out for ayurveda solutions i would recommend Ayurvaid hospitals.
AyurVAID Hospital, India’s 1st and only NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals) accredited Ayurveda hospital in India, specialises in the root ...

no, I’ve been supping iodine for almost a year now and I had many emotional ups and downs, and I was iodine-ing all the way through it.

Since bromide seems to have such an affinity for lipids, might take oil(fats/lipids) to mobilize it...especially deep stores bound up in organ fat.
