I have posted a topic before on the iodine forum. As of now, I have experimented alot with it but there is still something which seems to be unclear (to me). oh, good. well, for those lurking, here is what i know about dosing: under ten mg - way better than nothing, some benefits, unlikely to correct halogen imbalance 50mg - enough to address iodine sufficiency but not enough to defend against detox from halogen imbalance, barely in the effective range but causes the most problems(if there are any) 100mg - the sweet spot for addressing halogen imbalance without the more uncomfortable detox effects. i call it a minimum daily amount. daily doses of at least 100mg total iodine(that would be 130mg of KI only) keep the bad halogens at ... 9,083 hits 1 of 1 (100%)

Greets Wombat, First, a number of issues need to be addressed for better discernment. Are they still hyperthyroid? Toxic thyroid adenoma indicates hyperthyroid. Which is a really cool way for the body to compensate for low thyroid production. Personally, I perceive this as iodine intake was marginal, but the other required trace elements were missing. Fullset, I have not done any research on this question. I avoided all of those nasty detox symptoms by starting iodine at 1/2mg and SLOOOWLY titrating up to 25mg over 6 months. Then I took another 3 months to move up to 50mg a day. I am still at 50mg after 1.5 years and I occasionally bump it up to 100mg. I follow the Dr. Brownstein Protocol which suggests start small and go slow. It is the Trapper Protocol which advises starting at 100 mg and going up from there. Energizing is easy with electrical current but structuring is more difficult. Magnets or Vortex work great for that but here is a caveat. Back in the early days of the forum there was a post about energizing water. You can’t structure water unless its negative charged but a negative charge without structure is very easy. You just need to run some current by it and allow the positive charge to be picked up by the current. What you are after is a negative charge like it would be in nature. Iodine in nature will always be negative charged. But even burning kelp to get at the iodine can change that. i’ll slap a couple of Rs on that. you got the right idea. i estimate that 100mg is a bare minimum to mitigate and correct halogen imbalance syndrome. also, iodoral is not for everyone just like lugols is not for everyone. SSKI, on the other hand, is something anyone can take in gram amounts. i got up to 600mg with lugols with magnets on the bottle and had to switch to SSKI to go up any higher. you should try lugols just so you can put magnets on the bottle. you will get twice as much good from the same dosage. its EASY to take too little iodine. its hard to take too much. a ... 1,452 hits

Hey Wombat, I decided to condense the making of Zeta(2) Water from this thread for our commrades. I do things a little differently due to time/space restraints(a.k.a work). We keep Z water in a large(3 gal) ceramic dispenser. In the morning I drink 27 oz of concentrace/lemon/salt water...in the afternoon, 40 oz. of Z water.... The recipe is 0.1 g. baking soda and 0.9 g tripotassium citrate mixed with 1 liter distilled or R.O. water, the measures are critical. your confusion is understandable. lugols is called STRONG Iodine Solution. the ”strong” part is the elemental iodine (not iodiDe) which can be quite harsh, corrosive and highly oxidative. it is used to treat FBD and ovarian cysts because it takes free iodine to break them up. i have found dosage limits on lugols to be up to 300mg, 600mg if magnets are affixed to the bottle. i think 2% SSKI with magnets is perfect. this provides a whole range of doses up to one gram or even more with no problems. 5% anything is a waste of I2. hint to those fans of iodine - there is someone right now in the process of taking iodine for FBD and its shrinking. they are taking KI only. full report on VWT if and when this is completed. initial dose 100mg and now on 200mg. this gets back to cayce and the ”detoxified iodine”. elemental is a bugger, highly corrosive and a strong oxidizer. i am aware of a woman right now who is taking only KI for her FBD. it seems to be working and if it is successful then we have a whole new set of parameters to deal with. for now, the dogma here is that elemental is is necessary to take for FBD/PCOS and for good reason - it works. magnets are the bomb diddy when it comes to lugols and similar. i still think a little magnetized elemental speeds up healing, recovery and the rate of becoming sufficient. Great great article! I have read a lot about chinese bitters & comptis in relation to endo...maybe it is about time I try them?? Also I am very sure as well my liver is a large reason for my overall ill health. It hurts all the time. less does seem like better when it comes to elemental. that or only as needed. its much easier to begin on KI in the first place. i really dont want to discourage anyone from taking lugols, but it should be used sparingly and boosted with additional KI, for sure. im telling you, SSKI 2% was pure genius. not my genius, i was simply forced into it and it worked out. the magnets, yes that was me, inspired by cayce. 1,481 hits
