I saw this post this morning and, since I had to go to the grocery store today anyway, I went to the salt aisle to look at the nigari. They had three different kinds as far as I could tell. They were all liquid, which surprized me, because for some reason I expected it to look like salt. One bottle was 100ml and cost 238yen (about $2), one bottle was 100ml and cost 525yen (about $5) and one bottle was 450ml and cost 725yen (about $7).
