Just thought I would stop in and give a ”review” of the Iodine salve I purchased from Wombat a few weeks ago. I love this stuff! It makes cuts heal faster, mosquito bites stop itching and heal up. My latest praise that I HAD to come and tell: my son just got back from church camp Saturday COVERED with chiggers. He counted 26 of them...and he has the same reaction to them as I do. It was unopened. I had a few of the mini bottles you sent with it, and that is what I was putting in my water that kind of spread and stuck to the side of the cup. I did a search to see if Iodine goes bad, and I didn’t think it did, but is there a difference in magnascent that it would? When I drop it into water it spreads out like I’ve dropped soap into greasy water, and the iodine sticks to the side of the cup. I haven’t taken it in awhile and I was going to start again. I put mine in for iodine salve and comfrey salve. Love your stuff!! :) I used the iodine salve on my nose recently. It was dry from the nice fall allergies I have (blowing it a lot) and it makes it soft in about 10 minutes. Wonderful!! Well, I want to try the nicotinic acid...because of the flush and getting blood to everywhere. He gets cold suddenly since all of this started and he is not usually a cold type person, and I have been giving him iodine in case it is mercury. But I thought that it would help his circulation. I don’t see anything about iron on the blood test. The RBC on the test from August said 4.9 with a range of 4.2-6.3 Dr. didn’t mention it being low. Ok, this is about my husband. He seems to think this started in late June early July. I think it started last year. He was waking up in the morning with sore feet and heavy legs, which would be fine after about 30 minutes.(last year) ff to Junish. He started waking up in the middle of the night about 3am with his hands stiff and he could not make a fist. They began to swell so he could not wear his ring. I will first say that I am more or less off of iodine. I started in Nov 07, and was taking 4 drops for about 8 or so months about 6 days a week. The potassium chloride works AWESOME!! I put about a teaspoon in about a tblsp or so of water and let it sit. Then about 30 minutes later I washed my face and put some of the water and dabbed it on each place, and went to bed. It stung for a few minutes. I woke up to flat spots, and a dry skin on top which I peeled off with tweezers. AWESOME!!!! Thanks to LNDolls for the solution! love ya! My 22 year old cat is gaining weight with a couple of drops added to his water. I had forgotten to put it in a few days and he stopped eating his whole serving of food, and losing weight. a strep throat infection since you started on iodine? My DH has a very sore throat and swollen tonsils, and when he gets this, which is often(about 4-5 times a year) antibiotics are the only thing that will kick it. So, I have been having him gargle with about 7-8 drops of lugol’s in 1/4 cup of water. It does help, however it is not going away. I told him to swallow some of it too, so it can get all over there. He says it is nasty, but does it anyway-but it does really burn his tongue. I am wondering if some peroxide and iodine mixed would be a better gargle?   [End]

Before I didn’t have the selenium, I just had a multi with it in there. I also forget to take my vit C. So many things to take to counteract all this ick. I am allergic to lots of things, cats included. I have an indoor cat, which my allergy doc said I would never know he was gone if I got rid of him, so he didn’t recommend it. I want to give my cat both, is it okay to mix them? I have been giving him CS and in his other water a drop of iodine. He tends to drink the water I put in the bathroom, that is his fave place to drink. It is really itchy and some red, and on the base of my neck right above my collar bone on either side. The little hollow at the base of your neck. It started on the left and now is on the right as well. I am only painting a very small amount of Lugol’s, about a drop, on my foot, and on my leg a brown spot. Well, most of them are out, the fillings. I do still have one that was so big he said I would have to have a crown if he messed with it, and one other little small one. The rest are replaced as of about 6 years ago. I drink water from my fridge that has a filter, I don’t know if it gets out the fluoride or not, and I use tooth soap now to brush with. Incidentally, my dentist had given me some peri-rinse for my sensitive teeth...which I seldom used.
