I am a BIG watermelon lover. I could eat them all day and them I use the rind in my compost bin. If I am juicing a watermelon, I use the whole melon---rind and all...
Anyway, I saw my first moon melon the other day. The outside is, of course, green, but there’s these yellow full moon shapes all over it. I hear it’s a red seeded melon and tastes great, but I haven’t had the pleasure of trying one yet.
BTW, if you are ever in Mississippi and try one of our Smith County watermelons, you will think you have just died and gone to heaven. Well, you did......it’s Mississippi heaven.
