Actually, in Chicago. The food was really good! I told them I was a vegan (I try and not make a big deal of being ’raw’ around ’others’) and they totally hooked me up! They made sure I had lots of veggies and salad and fruit to eat. And they sent me home with leftover salad and fruit. I highly recommend colonics! I have never had a bad experience with one, only good ones. I always feel lighter and a bit at peace...it sounds wierd, but I feel it helps center me. I am transitioning out of the MC, I just had a question, can I start the parasite/kidney/bowel cleanse while transitioning or do I need to be eating solid foods so that things can get moving? Also, I was told that to do 1 day transition to each 2 days of mc. Rye is totally easy to sprout. It adds a little ’density’ to the bread with a little extra flavor. I actually use a 1:3,4 ratio with Rye to Wheat. I am not sure about the transition/ending the MC per the protocol in the book. I have read, ”Fasting can save your life”, by Herbert Sheldon each time before/during and after a fast. The part that does get me is coming off the fast. But in his book, optimally you need to transition as long as you were on the fast. Ergo, if you fasted 10 days, you need to transition for 10 days. I have a green star juicer. I bought it off of ebay a couple of years ago for around $400. It came with all the attachments, but I do not use nearly all of the attachments. Mostly, I use the screens. I have used it to make ’raw mashed potatoes’ (cauliflower, avos and cashews) and to make essene bread dough. I bought because supposedly it keeps augers do not heat up ergo keeping the enzymes and vitamins in tact. I also like that I have the flexibility of juicing wheatgrass. Hope this helps! Good luck. Ok, you know what I did to keep myself on the right track? I am a total geek and fired up Excel and make daily checklists. So I go along my list, mark off what I had to drink, 1-10 btw. I have made it to 6 and I am just not wanting anymore. I have to workout, meditate and drink my teas. So I think it’s working. I just haven’t worked out yet because of my knee injury. I can’t take it, going to work through the pain tomorrow because I know the lemon is healing by joins! Right! You know why people fast...;) You are better than the rest of the people in ’mainstream’ trying to lose weight. Fasting is the only realy way to lose weight. You are giving your body and incredible gift! I know the scale is our enemy! But what I do is try on my ’skinny’ clothes or my ’fat clothes’ to see if they fit or see how loose they are...try it! Especially if you looking great on the outside, it would be fun, try on those clothes, strut around in the mirror and see how HOT you are!!! ( hope to be where you are soon!!!!)   [End]

Ok...here it is, day 2. When I first got up, I was blacking out...actually, it happens quite often when I do fast. (Anyone get that too?) My son is on mid-term break and he is driving me nuts! Too much energy for a 5 year old! Ok, my patience is down to nothing ;). I am starting to get cold again...grrrr and brrr. I know, if I can just get to Thursday, I can make this 10 day fast. I think I am just going to down the last of me lemonade (I think about 32 oz total today) and hit the sack! If I am just not thirsty, would it be bad if I did not make it to the 60 - 80 oz of lemonade...I am just not thirsty? Also, can you use agave nectar instead of maple syrup? Ok, I have tried to start this cleanse about 5 times in the last month. But now, I am so aggravated with myself, it is time to get real serious. I have a knee injury now and it is going to sideline my workouts. It is so painful I cannot do pilates or yoga. The only exercise that does not hurt is my AB LOUNGE!
