Hi all, I did an MC about two years ago and it was great.I started another yesterday and I was so light-headed that I almost gave up.Anyways,today is going fine and I even did a nice work-out. I have been making my own water kefir for about three weeks now and drinking about a litre a day.I feel great with it except for my eyes.By the end of the day my eyes are dog tired and feel very heavy.I do have a lot of energy with the kefir but sleeping is not too great and I have stopped drinking the kefir too late.Any relationship between lack of sleep and kefir or just co-incidence? I think your grains are definitely dead.Sorry to be so blunt.I only started just over two weeks ago but my grains have more than tripled,I now have to do two sets of kefir at a time and each jar has about four tablespoons each.I started out with just over two TBLS.I’m loving this water kefir and the taste should be tangy with a soda pop fizz. My son went to the Dr today and was told he has an ecovirus.I have never heard of this before.Last Thursday he came down with swollen itchy eyes and thought it was a cold.It was getting worst and so on Saturday he went to the Dr who said it was pinkeyes and gave him drops.By Monday he had no relief and went back again so the Dr gave him more drops and antibiotics. Tendonitist is really inflammation of the tendons and since turmeric is good for inflammation then I figured that it should be good for the tendonitist.But it has to be taken diligently...as in everyday to see results. I had wrecked my arm playing basketball years ago and did everything the Dr recommended including cortisone shots,acupuncture,physio and all the exercise but nothing helped as much as this lowly spice/herb.Of course if I didn’t have to use my arm so much it would have probably healed,I don’t know but unfortunately that was not an option. Yes Serafina,she has a fiance and they are getting married in Oct of this year.In the meantime her periods make her life very difficult and with all the lab work she has to do she gets completely stressed and bitchy!!And she is usually a sweetheart(even if I say so). My daughter has had menstrual problems for a long time now and since she was in her teens the dr put her on low dose of birth control pills to help regulate her periods.It has helped somewhat but she also experiences a lot of menstrual cramps for the first two days.I myself experienced a lot of pains before the birth of my children but if I had known what I do now about natural healing it would have been different.
