Now I get it. No wonder I would always feel kinda sleepy or groggy after eating a carbohydrate laden food. I have this problem, before my periods, I would crave carbs like crazy. But I was confused, coz instead of bursting energy, I would feel the other way around. I was scared I was prediabetic, so I would check my blood sugar, but luckily, no. Maybe also my adrenals, coz I love coffee.
