Like just about anything in life, Soy requires moderation. Are you male, or female? Soy has specific chemicals inherent in it known as ”Phytoestrogens”. These can be good for you in limited amounts, but studies out of New Zealand years ago (I can dig up the papers later and write an article about it I suppose) showed some negative correlations for babies that were fed solely soy formula.
Like I said, Soy in moderation is perfectly okay though. It can be a very healthy, tasty, and cheap alternative to meats or other protein sources. However, don’t overdo it. Try Pinto Beans, Black Beans, ...
