I have decided to get mine removed next Wednesday and am counting down the minutes to normality.  I am trying not to get my hopes up but it is hard not to after reading all of these other women’s stories.  About the research, after all of this I was planning on doing some research on it- so I will let you all know what I find out.  If the only good thing that comes out of all this these last 4 years is -keeping other women from going through it- it will have been worth it.  Why do they think there are so many more women that deal with depression and hormonal problems th ...

I am a mother of 4, and after my last one almost 4 years ago I decided to get the mirena. My doctor said it was wonderful and he even was putting one in his wife. I figured hey if he is willing to put it in his wife it must be ok. Now I am realizing it isn’t. I am scheduled to get it out next week. I can’t wait!!
