Did you see a TV documentary made a few years back on macrobiotic diets? As I recall, they followed several cancer sufferers and filmed their medical care. Some chose conventional care and some chose a macrobiotic approach. I think there was a third category as well. A very large percentage of African Americans, Asians, Hispanics and Europeans are said to be lactose-intolerant. How would eating dairy be of help to them? 2. I gave up meat because of this diet and it was the best thing I ever did. (Tho I still eat a little shrimp/fish) Like most type A’s, I was making way too much mucous and going meatless/dairyless helped a lot! I do eat certain grains on occasion though and have no problems. He suggests that taking sulfa drugs was ok for Type A’s. However I had an extreme reaction to sulfa drugs. So as with all things, you have to experiment a little and find what does and does not work for you. Over all, I think it is a pretty good diet.   [End]

I use San Giuliano Alghero olive oil. It is organic, extra virgin, cold pressed in a tall dark bottle...made in Italy. Not as ”fine” as some of the others mentioned, but a good oil nonetheless.
