It worries me that you had a DNA test come back negative. I thought that was my last hope for a positive test. My next attempt at diagnosing this was to send a sample to a lab in Asheville NC for extensive testing. That lab is recommended on this site. I have read were others have not gotten sick, with a virus, so yes, I think there is something to it. I do believe that it is our immune systems have become over run and can’t fight it so we don’t really get symptoms or it could be that the parasite itself does not thrive in a virus infected host and eradicates the virus itself. Yes, it could be. It has been a guessing game for me the past 8 months. First we thought it was Giardia, then we thought it was yeast, then I passed a worm that looked similar to a tapeworm so that is what I thought we had. We have taken in numerous lab samples and all have come back negative. We even took in worms we had passed and the doctors would not even look at them. One doctor has at least tried to help by prescribing us Albenzadole and Praziquantel. He understands that the labs are very unreliable. Next I am going to try Ivomectin. Yeah good luck with taking a worm into the Doctor’s office. My wife and I passed a tapeworm on the same day. We took the worms to 3 different doctors. Not one of them would even look at the worms. One said to take it to their lab and have test run on. I took it to the lab and the lab rejected it because it had not been in a sterile environment (it was in my toilet). Thank you for the response. I am thinking I will stay off the meds for 7-10 days and then have another run at it. My stomach is rumbling again, along with being bloated and having excess gas. My cold seems a little better today, so I think some of that could have been all the meds I was taking. I do wonder if certain vitamins or foods actually help revive the worms. I thought I had them on the run and then I took zinc, at a brownie, and took elderberry tea for my cold.
