Yes in the beginning for about 6 months I had blurry vision with alot of floaters. IIRC suddenly having a lot of floaters can be a sign of uveitis. The vet version of this drug ruined my vision and I only took about 22.5mg and I was around 185LB when I took it. Many others do not have this reaction though. Can anyone confirm that a dose of 250LB durvet Ivermectin Paste Dewormer 1.87% Apple Flavor equals 22.75mg of Ivermectin? It says 91mcg of ivermectin per lb mark on the syringe. So if my math is correct, if the syringe is set to 250LB... The amount of paste that comes out will be close to 22.75mg. Some good news... While visual snow, ghosting, light sensitivity, changes in contrast are still present... The color saturation is going away!!!! This gives me a lot of hope! Research is a must if one is considering self treatment specially when it comes to drugs not prescribed for humans. Unfortunately Fenbendazole seems to be more experimental and I’m not finding straight forward information. 2500mg divided by 6 is around 416mg. I can share some experience with the vitamins I tried while fighting Giardia and EH for the last 7 years. I had good experiences with Liquid Folic Acid 400mcg & Vit b12 (cyanocobalamin) 1000 mcg from Vitamin Shoppe. It does have fructose corn syrup but there are other brands that are sugar free. B-3 (niacin) is another vitamin that gave me some energy boost. Note that Niacin may cause flushing, tingling and skin reddening, particularly on empty stomach. As for lab testing, Cahill is worth seeing if you can’t travel to Brazil and test at Labion. There is no other lab in USA I know that is able to diagnose parasites. Parawellness may be an alternative in USA but I have not used them yet. As a Dr, Cahill can be good but some times what he prescribes is not enough. There is no sure magic bullet with Parasites. You should not feel this sick after taking medication against giardia. You should have started feeling better in two weeks. When did you take the medicine against Giardia? It takes more time to recover from Entamoeba histolytica but in my experience it does not take a long time to feel 85% recovery from Giardia. I would follow Briboys advice and get tested again with different labs using different methods. Find a Dr that can do a sigmoidoscopy parasite test. The best lab I have used is called Labion and is located in Brazil and they don’t do sigmoidoscopy. There are good labs out there that can detect without sigmoidoscopy but in my experience, regular labs give false negatives often. It’s possible you have other bugs then Giardia. under the sun (thyroid issues, SAD, hypoglycemia, adrenal burn out etc... sound fammiliar?) but it is so unhealthy! Don’t just ’guess’ you have candida! Should not be too hard to find out if one has Hypoglycemia. Just get a glucose meeter at the pharmacy and test when feeling worse... I am not sure but you shouldn’t have loose stools. If you want to rule out the protozoa, go see Dr. Cahill in NY. He is the only one that can rule parasite/protozoa out. While Cahill does the best test for protozoa that I know in USA, I don’t know if the accuracy is 100%. Its possible that in some cases the parasite does not show on the test.   [End]

i also saw my son’s GI today to show him of the diagnoses and he said he was probably infected after we had tested his stool. Does that mean the GI Dr tested your son before your son tested with Cahill? Excellent post. It’s also a good idea to avoid public natural water fountains, be careful when swimming in recreational water and very careful with restaurants. It’s also probably better to avoid eating uncooked foods from restaurants if you really must eat at a restaurant. This is common knowledge in some ”3rd world”/developing countries (in my experience) but for some reason people in more developed countries think they are immune to parasites. Is there anything I need to do prior to his test? As far as I know, its best to not take any herbs, vitamins or medication which can kill the bugs or mess-up the test for at least two weeks before the test but longer might be better. How long have you been cured of parasites? Which parasites did you get rid of? What test did you do for parasites and protozoa? Did you do Siginoidoscopic examination? With the exception of one amazing lab in Brazil, the 7 stool tests I did have been useless to me, It might be possible that you still have a protozoa because its possible that your stool test didn’t catch all of the bugs. My question is the following. I am treating an unidentified protozoa having done the Metametrix bowel profile test. I also tested with MetaMetrix and got the PPTU result (Parasite present taxonomy unavailable). This was not enough information so I traveled to Brazil and tested at Labion. It turned out I had Giardia and Entamoeba histolytica that MetaMetrix was not able to detect! Entamoeba histolytica can kill! Have you been able to deal with your white-coated tongue issue? Has anything worked? Mine is just out of control these days. The white tongue almost went away completely for the two months after I have killed Giardia and EH. I suspect if you kill those bugs (if you have them) the white tongue will go away after a while. I am confused when it comes to the list of symptoms I see online for EH, some of them agree and others dont. Should I assume that parasites can cause any and every symptom out there or does EH have one or more distinctive symptom or lack of symptom that other parasites have? I dont want a diagnosis if it causes me to go chasing it in circles with various meds--which is exactly what some are doing/have done with blastos. Blasto is quite controversial, there are people that believe its pathogenic there are those which don’t. AFAIK there is no such disagreement when it comes to Entamoeba Histolytica.
