Hi. Please calm down and don’t worry about the smell when you are trying to see a doctor. I think the thyroid is probably one of the number one causes for most people’s body odor. There is not a process in the body that the thyroid does not affect. It controls our entire metabolism, not just fat metabolism. I had to be admitted to the hospital because of bronchitis on 4/10/17. The emergency room drs ran tests and checked my thyroid because they saw that some years ago, the last time I was in the er, my thyroid was extremely overactive (hyperthryroid). Hi, The side effect that I had was the normal flushing effect, meaning my skin felt hot for about an hour. After the first week of adding niacin, my body got used to it and I did not flush that often, if at all. ThHe niacin that needs to be used is immediate release (flushing/nicotinic acid) You do not want to use the time-release form. The brand I am using is Rugby Niacin (in the form of nicotinic acid) I am still using the combo. I will use fr a year, with the zinc and magnesium and then I will wean myself off all three.   [End]

Hi, Yes, I have pcos. Niacin was the missing ingredient for me. Spiro gave me a VERY loud smell that was similar to a mix of chemicals and must. It was a musty/musky smell that I can’t really put my finger on. It almost smelled like peanut butter, a very musty, hot/wet peanut smell.
