You should ask your doctor, but I know celiac’s disease can ”trigger” at any given moment, so I have no idea if that changes anything.. He might wanna get checked again, since both antibodies came back positive.. Also! It runs in the family! So that is even greater news for you!! You may also have celiac’s!! Get tested, please! No, I didn’t get that done. My doctor said something like ”if they are really bad, I’ll tell you to be strict with your diet. If the results are not that bad, I’ll tell you to be really strict with your diet”. So it made no sense to get it done :P Well, I tried drinking LOTS of water so I was in the bathroom often.. I still felt dry. Water is absorbed on the intestine like everything.. so if you have that damaged due to celiac’s, it may generate the problem, I think. The only thing I know for sure is that I wasn’t absorbing nutrients properly.   [End]

Careful! A patch allergy test would test for wheat allergy but NOT celiac’s! You may get a negative allergy test and be celiac (actually, this is very common). The test you need is a blood test that looks for the antibodies found in celiac patients.   [End]

Well, if he truly has celiac’s maybe the gluten free diet was not *actually* gluten free, as CC may have been present. But I do believe that getting tested is way better and faster than trying and testing it for yourself! Any doctor can write the orders for the test, and it’s super simple! It’s only a blood test :) ! The look for the proper antibodies. Just make sure he DOES eat gluten in his diet before the test, otherwise, the antibodies may not show up. It’s very easy and you can get it done tomorrow :) if it comes back negative, at least you can rule this out! :)   [End]

Oh, my lip was sort of like that, but as I have thinner lips and the picture is small, I can’t really tell! I do eat dairy, but I’ve heard some celiacs have a hard time tolerating it at the beggining of their diet :) ! Also, you said that now only your lower lip is peeling!! that means you are better, right? :) keep strong! vitamins can help you speed things up! Just make sure you get strict about CC!   [End]

Well, I created the account only for this, so I feel pretty bad right now :( .. I’m sorry. I thought maybe this might help some of you.. Haha, I’m not skinny, I’m ”normal” I guess :).
