I’m starting them next week, doing one ever 2 weeks. My EC started when I took ketaconazle (really strong anti fungal known for liver toxicity). Liver plays a big part in the immune because it dumps toxins in to the intestine if it’s not working. Not to sound totally arrogant, but I’m gonna chime in and say yeah, we definitely have an inflammatory condition, yeah it’s definitely immune driven. But considering 85% of your immune is located in your gut, I’d say intestinal health plays a really big role in this. Haha, well, in my experience, anything high in glutamate will repair intestinal lining. Bone broth, l-glutamine also things sauerkraut and coconut oil. Definitely get on the probiotics, providing you don’t have sibo. I’m not sure how hard it is to get tested over there but investigating your digestive health is a good start. I feel like I have unmanaged h pylori which could play a role, on top of my candida. L-Glutamine is for repairing muscle so maybe you bought it for the gym? Yes I intend to go very slowly, I found my initial ec ’breakout’ was quite mild, I believe it was due to toxicity as I was taking ketaconzole which is very hard on the liver. Then my ec was exacerbated by peeling the lips over and over, so there is secondary trauma. Hi longterm, I’m really hoping you’re still around to help. I recently developed ec, and i think i have it due to candida/fungal type infection.
