Congratulations and thank you for the news! I’m going to try a raw fruit juice/smoothie diet for the next two weeks and I’ll post up my results as well! Strangest thing is, normally I can’t eat a wide selection of fruits (too much gas :x) but after I blend it together into a smoothie, there is no discomfort in my stomach. I’ll ask again. Is this official? Meaning was it diagnosed by your doctor from a blood sample? Have you been treating it and has it decreased your odor? Self-diagnosing yourself is whatever, but why are you pushing your own diagnosis on other people when you don’t even know them? And btw, all of us don’t even have the same frickin disease. There are people with TMAU and people who THOUGHT they had TMAU but were tested and found that they didn’t have it. No, i can’t smell my own fbo, but there are times when my body LEAKS of fecal smell that I can actually smell in stuffy or stressful environments. After I drank cabbage juice those episodes did not occur until today. My stomaches are coming back after eating all those pumpkin pies -.- this winter break I’m going to try a cabbage juice diet for a week. I’ll let you guys know of the results.   [End]

Hey, I have pretty much the same conditions as you. I went to an herbalist and he recommended juicing a cup of green cabbage every day for my mother who has h pylori So I joined her as well, I didn’t notice anything at first but as I kept drinking it I realized my bb was gone! I didn’t have a nasty taste in my mouth, and the sporadic times where I can smell a leak of gas (apart from the usual fbo) was gone as well. Hey, don’t feel down, I’m about the same age as you so I know what you’re going through. Hveragerthi gave some good advice so you can follow those. One thing to note is gerd-- this shows that your digestive system is not in top condition, therefore it would be safe to say your breath is related to it, as you had noted. In that case, the first thing to target is your diet. Have you tried cutting out dairy and gluten yet? Also eliminate any other foods that you feel more uncomfortable than others after eating, such as meat. Instead, add more raw foods like vegetables and fruits. Avoiding co ...

Hmm... I don’t feel the need to go all the time but I must have a sensitive stomach, if I eat heavily I have the urgency to go immediately, and I’m worried that my body did not have enough time to absorb enough nutrients from what I ate. You have no idea how relieved I am knowing that I am not the only one with this "disease" and that I can relate to people with how miserable I have felt and am feeling for the past few years.
