Many thanks for your response! Echo is a fine man full of exceptional wisdom and humor, and I miss our time spent together sharing stories and experiences. I pray his appointment goes well. Hopefully he (and you) will not get caught-up in the bad weather churned-up by hurricane Katrina. I do not know if I am yet prepared to venture onto the Trail by myself and make the trip south in hopes of meeting-up with Echo. Kerminator, I’m certain you had some extremely interesting discussions with Echo - Just as I did with him one year ago in New York State. He is a man of great feeling and knowledge, and has wonderful tales to tell of his backpacking experiences. I miss him a great deal and have hoped to be able to meet up with him again.
