I have a week off work coming up that I could do a juice fast..I’d want and hope to lose some lbs at the same time! I tried whole husks of psyllium the other night. The next morning I was so blocked up and bloated that I puked. Not sure if it was the husks or just being constipated in general. I am very weird. Most laxatives, suppositories, foods, that promote bowel movements just don’t work on me. Only coffee. I also will look for that root coffee. Thank-you.   [End]

Thank-you so much for all the replies! I do believe that something is wrong with my liver however, I have no idea how that could have happened. I have suffered from constipation since I was 18 and I’m now 30. I have never, ever been able to go on my own and up until discovering coffee worked, I usually went once a week using laxatives. I have tried stewed prunes in the morning WITH coffee..and that worked. At one time I was eating 3-4 cups of oatmeal a day with litres of water upon waking and that did keep me going. Hello, I have read through thousands of posts on the candida forum. Mainly following Nordskoven (sp?) because he makes a lot of sense about candida and it is easy for me to understand. But I am not healing. It started after a frosty cottage vacation I got very sick with a sinus cold. Wow I’m sorry I never replied! Did you ever get it figured out? I would imagine the Floradix is not enough to re-fill your ferritin stores. There isn’t much iron in that. Hopefully you are also eating lot’s of iron rich foods combined with Vit.C.   [End]

I hope someone on here can help me. I’ve been to my doctor probably a hundred times and my urologist in the past year and a half and both of them have no clue. It started with uti symptoms after intercourse a year and a half ago. The feeling of having to pee and nothing comes out. I have recently been diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia. Doc gave me high dose iron pills and I did not go to the bathroom for over a week. I stopped taking them and my stomach has not returned to normal, alternating between D and C and bloating. The bloating never goes away. I struggle with IBS-C to begin with but had it under control until I started the iron pills.
