Not knowing what brand you bought from the local stores I would say that a good rule of thumb is to take twice as much as you would the Utopia Silver UNLESS you ended up with one of those high PPM products that contain 50 to 500 ppm of silver. As far as I know, that should work - at least to some extent. You can also take oleander extract that way (but you have to know what you are doing if you make your own or else order the herbal supplement version, which can take a couple of weeks due to shipping out of South Africa)

It sounds to me like you need to get some superior quality colloidal silver and take lots of it. My suggestion would be the Advanced Colloidal Silver made by Utopia Silver and take two to four ounces daily, divided into two doses. If you take any other colloidal silver product, it would be best to take up to eight ounces a day.
