I would drink some in the morning and approximately 45 minutes later I had to take a nap. I tried to work through it, but it made me exhausted. Not wanting to give up, I continued to drink it. Ellesbells, thank you so much for your informative post! I have minor symptoms of arthritis; mainly in my big toe and slightly in my knee. The arthritis in my toe became a major problem when I could no longer find comfortable shoes, nor can I walk for extended periods of time. Jogging for exercise is a vision of the past. Hi Joanne, Sorry for the late response to your post. My recipe for the lemon water drink is pretty simple. I use about a half of a lemon and a little bit of lime (about ¼) and squeezed it in a 12-oz cup of water. I tried drinking it unsweetened, but it was a bit too sour, so I put in a little stevia. I would drink it first thing in the morning right after brushing my teeth. During the time I was taking the drink I ate, but I did not have any processed foods nor any type of grain. Hello Richard, My reply will not address your issues of hypoglycemia, as I only had a small bout of that during pregnancy, and was told to eat more frequently. It cleared up post pregnancy, however, I will comment on yours and your sister’s lactose intolerant status. I too suffered with lactose intolerance for more years that I’d like to count.
