I want to post this comment to help those still suffering from the anal gas leakage. I have GERD and food intolerances. I had a huge GERD attack one day and it caused a ton of gas buildup. I use The Doctor’s Brush Picks. They are interdental picks and I also use Oral-B super floss. I was using the CVS super floss but I would break it apart because it was really thick.These tools are helping my gums to come closer to my teeth, which supports the pocket closing, however you still need the pocket cleaning, and root & scaling by the dentist or periodontist. Once your gums come closer to your teeth you need to adjust the size of what you are pushing through your gums. You could cause serious damage to your gums. I have one more huge tip for you. I also saw a periodontist. He did a full gum check and told me I had pockets but he acted like he couldn’t help. You have to be very specific and ask if the pockets are deep enough to pack food and cause a poop smell. The poop smell is due to the break down of food, and certain gases being creating in your mouth, it is similar to what happens in your bowels. Doing this will allow the gums to come closer to the teeth that have this issue. You will feel discomfort while flossing especially if you have gum disease but don’t worry. It means you are flossing correctly. Over time the pain will lesson and sometime reappear but not to the same degree of how it started. I am adding tips that I remember helped me.   [End]

I am so glad that this situation is figured out but I am still going to monitor it and continue to take better care of my teeth. I send my wishes to you all. I just got my poop breath cured after feeling embarrassed for years. I do have gingivitis and yes I was getting tooth cleanings 4X a year but just the other day the doctor found a 5mm pocket next to a crown. The crown was aiding in the food packing I believe.
