Great discoveries. My opinion also is that the sulfate reducing bacterias and their byproducts are the problem. Liver should make those byproducts odorless, but if the liver isn’t working well or have lot’s of crap to clear - BO occurs. well you can try this, there is nothing to lose. IMO if proteins are not digesting well, the reason is lack of stomach acid (mineral deficiencies, H. Pylori or something else) and then pancreatic insufficiency. My zinc and magnesium levels are always low normal (blood/serum levels) and folic acid level was also low normal few years ago. Levels of Cu are also low normal. Hi Draheraw, regarding black tea - I use some local brands. Each bag has 2 grams of black tea (early grey). I use two bags for about cup and a half of water. If I use it in a cup of water, it’s too strong (caffeine). I’m drink it twice a day. TMAU - I have research it for a bit... I don’t know if I have it, but I smell from different things (for example a tinny bits of diary) so I don’t know about that. I have been to one, and my pancreas to not produce enough enzymes, I can’t digest proteins and fat well so I have to take digestive enzymes and avoid fats. I can’t avoid proteins, but I’m trying to not eat too much of it... I didn’t test levels of stomach acid, if there is not enough of it, there can be problems with proteins digestion. About alcohol and flush... there are some enzyme which is responsible for that, if your body do not produce that enzyme, you have flushes from alcohol. That’s what my gastroenterologist said to me. Try digestive enzymes, they are OK. Maybe you should go to gastroenterologist so he can prescribe you enzymes which are not destroyed by stomach acid. If you want to buy them by yourself - caps are better then tablets, from my experience.
