Just learned that Vit. K is the ”antidote” for coumadin. So the more vit. K, the more coumadin required. Consistancy in vit. k intake is what its all about. I will read that book, thanks. The brain is so amazing. She arrived at the hospital anywhere between 5 and 12 hours after the stroke, so they didn’t actually do anything for it. Was it crisis intervention? I don’t really know enough about it. All the concern was about preventing future strokes. I’m not sure if they did her more harm than good. I’ve gotten entirely rid of several raised moles. It takes a while though. At first it seemed like not much was happening, then the mole seemed to absorb a lot of iodine and get really dark. It can get rather nasty looking for a while, and the skin around it might get irritated and itchy. Then it becomes kind of a leathery scab which you can scrape off. No more mole! Anyone tried pomegranate oil on their skin? I’ve been using it on my face for about a week. It feels very slightly tingly, just a sensation that something is happening. We’ve just completed our wonderful new outdoor kitty enclosure, a 10’ x 20’ fully enclosed ”cage” to keep my 3 little darlings in, and the coyotes out. They love it so!! There is not enough space for them to do their poopin just anywhere, so we put in a 3’x 5’ sand-box, about 15” deep. I think maybe its the chewing and swallowing that activates digestion, such as when you chew gum, you’re constantly swallowing saliva and the gum flavor. That really gets your tummy going. I haven’t tried it personally, but I’ve heard that grapefruit seed extract (GSE) is a great preventative and/or cure for the ”Mexican flu”. You can mix the drops with water and take regularly as a preventative or take stronger doses if you start to feel like you might be getting sick. In several Curezone forums, I’ve read that a good PH balance and a clean organic diet are major factors in tanning/not burning. I guess I’m one of the 20-30% who can’t tolerate chlorella because of an inability to break down cellulose. Taking chlorella makes me nauseous to the point of vomiting. Anyone else have this trouble? I had always eaten shrimp without a problem, then in my early 20’s I had a severe allergic reaction to those large shrimp (prawns?) and only when I’d had a large portion, prepared on a Japanese restaurant grill. Yes, do it after your college tour trip, and before the wedding. I did just a 7 day MC, and had wonderful results, so I agree with the others. You’ll look and feel wonderful for the wedding! Quitting the caffeine before the fast makes it easier. If you work, get up an hour or so earlier to allow for the SWF and extra ”pooping” time. I was wondering if anyone has tried oil pulling while doing a Master Cleanse, as it seems the additional cleansing from OP would be beneficial during a Master Cleanse, and it might be a great antidote to the sensitive tooth problem caused by so much lemon juice. Could cause difficulty if oil in the mouth increases appetite. Has anyone tried them concurrently?   [End]

Good going, Tiz! It sounds like you could easily have gone a few more days, but whatever is right for you. I just had to add some unsolicited advice, since you admitted to being a non-cook. Learn to cook!! It’s nearly impossible to eat healthy if you don’t cook, so at least learn the basics of cooking good, simple healthy food, which is actually the easiest kind to prepare. Hi Tiz, After my 7 day MC, I had watered down OJ for most of the first day, and then had the soup for dinner. The next day I had several small servings of soup and a salad midday. This worked great for me. Just be sure to start small, eat slowly, and chew like crazy, and don’t forget to continue drinking lots of water. Glad to see you got some advice about soup. M   [End]

Congrats, Delta! I just did my first 10-day (actually it was a 9-day, but I insist on counting the OJ day, for gosh sakes!) I had my last senna tea the night before my OJ day. It took a few days, but BMs increased a bit each day with additional food. I’m continuing to eat mostly vegetables, and now I’m having those delightful puffy-poos that you get when you eat lots of fiber. I would say, just don’t over load with food, be patient, and you can always do senna tea if it doesn’t come. I think our bodies start to rely on the senna and it takes a while for it to remember how to make thing ...

Pigs aren’t so dirty, just omniverous and they like mud. I mean, there are people who keep pigs in their house! Its the abhorrent conditions in which they are kept that makes them ”filthy”. However, since breaking and now eating lots and lots of veggies and some fruit (that’s all I really want), I have lost a few pounds and look quite a bit slimmer. Yeah! I’ve had good results, felt great, and enjoyed eating, on a ”modified caveman” diet: Lots and lots of veggies, cooked and raw, chicken, fish and eggs (I try to do organic/free range when possible), a small amount of whole grains and beans, fruit, NO SUGAR, no processed foods, no white flour, very little dairy, no potatoes. I’m on day 8 of my MC and have had no detox symptoms, and have only been craving the healthiest foods imaginable, so maybe my previous diet has kept me in pretty good shape. Help! Can anyone explain why I haven’t lost even one pound in 6 going on 7 days? I’m using a little more than half the maple syrup, mainly because the full amount is just too sweet.
