It’s true when Christ referred to the meaning of his name (Matt 16:18) He said, ”Upon this rock I will build my church” ... however, I don’t think He intended to teach His church would be built upon Peter, but upon Himself (as confessed by Peter in verse 16 of the same chapter.)
