Two days ago I started taking 2 capusules per day of herbs (cornsilk, etc.) for kidney problems. I have persistent low back pain and seemed to have water retention and pain in the lower left groin area. Maybe it’s from all the epson salts from 13 flushes over the course of a year. Hi Yemaya! I take Di-Gest (Wild Rose brand) that contains 100 mg of L-Glutamic Acid HCI and 100 mg of Betaine HCI, along with other things. Are these not the best ingredients to take? I took Di-Gest many years ago with no ill effects when I went to Dr. Terry Willard’s Wild Rose clinic. However, I can’t seem to ”stomach” these digestive enzymes now. I find that whenever I’m taking P&B shakes, I have a metallic taste in my mouth all day. I read somewhere that bentonite should not come in contact with metal, so I use a plastic spoon. However, what about my mercury fillings?? Another question - why do I get terrible heartburn after a meal that includes taking a digestive enzyme? I’m wondering which brand of liquid minerals + vitamins is best. I see that Superfoods contains yeast - I have candida and don’t want to add more! It also has senna - don’t want the bowels do become dependent on a natural laxative. Some brands contain an animo acid called phenalyine (spelling?) which according to Bob (on Ask Bob forum) isn’t a good idea. I find that large doses of Chronium keeps me awake at night (rapid heartbeat). Anyone have suggestions?   [End]

I’m looking for a liquid type of supplement of vitamins and minerals, since I found a ”whole” vitamin tablet that I eliminated in the toilet! Has anyone used Seasilver? I plan to start a candida-eliminating diet by avoidings sugar, flour products, and fruit. Should I begin on a probiotic or take pysllium and bentonite shakes? I’ve heard that P&B shakes eliminate the good bacteria also, and that it’s wise not to take probiotics during the bowel cleanse. I’m confused as to which route to take. Any ideas are welcome. Hi Nervousnelly: I don’t recall doing anything strenous to cause the right rib pain. Mine came on during heavy stress, but the pain hasn’t gone away. There’s a spot at the bottom of the rib cage that is very sore to press down on. Costochondritis is supposed to affect the cartilage of the ribs, which seems to be the case. The daily constant pain is bearable though, not excrutiating. I’ve been putting up with lower back pain and sciatica for 6 years now, so this is just an added extra. Ha! Otherwise, I didn’t notice any difference with my rib pain. I didn’t quite make it through an entire bottle of GCG, and ended up sending back the unopened bottle to Julia Chang. I eliminated grape-sized balls last spring after starting on capsules containing grapefruit seed extract and oregano. They looked like a couple of whole ”grapes”, and I hadn’t eaten grapes in a year! They were open on one end and had a tough skin (couldn’t pierce them either).  They sort of looked like the tops of button mushrooms. I’m guessing they were some type of parasite, polys, or maybe a fungi?? They definitely weren’t gallstones though. I’m not using the lemonade cleanse (haven’t done any major bowel cleanses yet), but yes, the liquid black walnut extract and clove bud oil come in glass bottles. The pumpkin seed combination are in capsule form, as are the grapefruit seed extract. Unfortunately I didn’t keep a record of what was eliminated when, but I think I was taking the black walnut/clove bud oil/pumpkin seed capsules off and on for a couple of weeks before I saw the half dozen flukes. I’ve been told by my doctor a year ago that I have costochondritis - inflammation of the connective tissues in my ribs (form of arthritis). Since December I have completed 9 successful flushes. I started doing the flushes because I felt my gallbladder was acting up (it runs in the family). I haven’t passed golf ball sized stones, but did pass a number of marble-sized stones during my last flush (7th flush). There were various colors - some black, some white (calcified?), and some green. There was one that had the trademark ”mercedes benz” marking on it, just like the one in the photo on this web site.
