I suffered from Pompholyx for 30 years. Occasionally on my hands and almost continuously on my feet. I also had a mild, but continuous form of athlete’s feet in between my small toes.
Noticed it was related to climate (humid made it worse), sugar (particularly sugary alcoholic drinks), and white bread.
Went to an acupuncturist who told me it was a gut problem. Acupuncture treatment reduced the symptoms, but it did not go away completely.
