Incidently, both barley and papaya had genes from a bacteria added to them so that they produe chitinase. This was done to give them resistance to fungal infections. You probably need to find those particular GMO varieties. For papaya that is easy, as most papaya grown in Hawaii, is now GMO. For that variety of barley, you might try a beer-making supply store.
