Hi; my son could take capsules, thats the easiest way, fill them yourself; take it with vit C and magnesium. If not capsules put it in water with some lemon in it ( 1/8 or 1/4 teaspoon per liter) Or put it in tea or juice. Just dissolve the borax in a spoon of hot water first, then in juice. I recommend high” iodine; as we are flooded with fluoride, bromide these days. That is definitely not natural”, so (as we always did at this forum) take at least so much that you can combat this. Ok, for me it sounds like whining from one that doesn’t want to take responsibility for what he has done. We are adults here aren’t we? I have a few neighbors and colleagues that had heart attack last years; none of them took iodine. A couple of them are quite athletic and had a perfect” health prior to the attack. In my experience; no ”speed” effect from boron, quite the contrary. I take it before bedtime with magnesium and vit C; works well and has so for approx 10 years. But we are all different, like atypical reactions; or that the lack of magnesium, increased vit D activation from the boron may give the high” Increase the magnesium (in the form glycine or malate or chloride) and see what happens. The last TSH test I took; one year ago. Been on iodine for 10 years; came out fine. I took iodine as usual the days before. But then again I do not have hashimotos. The tests in general (my opinion) are beyond par. A patient where I work came out hyper thyroid from tests; where she clearly was hypo. Even the doctor saw this and ordered another test. My experience is different. Hair shedding before iodine supplement; I was hypo thyroid. Since then no problem 10 years into iodine/lugols in high dosages (now maintenance 150 mg two-three times a week) B vitamins are important though so are selenium. What I do is taking borax in the evening; last thing I do before bedtime. Because it is very alkaline and I don’t want it to interfere with the stomach acid and what I eat during the day. Together with vit C and magnesium. I took it every day for a year or so; now once or twice a week. Vitamin B is important when taking borax in these amounts. Hi; what you have made is the real Lugols; approx 6,5 mg per drop (depending on the dropper size) The 5% lugols count only the iodine (not the iodide) The 12 % you ordered; in uk/eu they count in also the potassium iodide; so it would be the 15% that is similar to lugols. The idea is from a doctor; that said yeast can take any ph alkalic or acidic, but can take both. I would use an organic aloe vera gel as a base for the acidic part. No measures of essential oils just as I always do; by the hunch. Some iodine / lugols and there is no way for the bacteria to survive. Hi, sounds like you are on a go. There will be some up and downs. Beware though ”At night I use a baking soda suppository for my recurrent yeast infection” Baking soda can actually cause BV as it alters the PH too much; too alkalic. The right ph is approx 4 down there. What I used to do was finish it of with some acidic treatment. A mix of Iodine, vinegar (or citric acid), essential oils (perfect ph) of lavender, tee trea, rosemary. Another option is boric acid capsules; known to cure BV and yeast infections in one go.   [End]

I don’t know about gram size; only took it only a couple of times. But been steady good for 10 years on 150 mg (not mcg) of iodine taken with vit C. Lately not daily, more like every other day. the vit C / juice transform the iodine to an anti oxidant form semi like potassium iodide, so no worries.
