I have been through this too--the fasting and binging. It is not easy but returning to the MC will only make it worse. We all have to confront our food issues not avoid them. Use this opportunity to look into causes and cures of bingen eating to begin fixing the real problem. Being on the MC is wonderful because it gives us the perfect excuse to avoid our problems associated with food. But as you know aviodance doesn’t work. Hi everyone- Is the colon cleanse to be done for a week or so- for anyone who’s done it? And should it help to decrease gas and/or bloating? ( I think these intestinal problems are due to the mercury/amalgam in my teeth but want to do the cleanse anyway). The removal of fillings seems way to complicated to try to do now ( also expensive!) Martha I’m wondering if you have visited www.ithyroid.com it’s a great laymans site on thyroid disorders and mineral imbalances etc. I’m just beginning taking alot of self-responsibility after a few years of naturopaths and alternatives as well as doctors. I was diagnosed with hashimotos thyroiditis and developed multinodular goiter. Bruce, I just saw your posting and am wondering what kind of liver flush worked for you. It’s great to hear you were able to drop your med. I’ve tried the Schulze liver cleanse which is 8 ounces of olive oil plus juice lemon, orange or apple taken over a 4 hour period. Not much happened. Have you tried this or Hulda Clarkes cleanse? I’m having a problem giving up my diet-coke habit. I know how bad it is for you but the withdrawals I go through are real tough. I usally stop cold turkey. Should I wean myself off it slowly?
